Assam Police Department has released as official notification of Assam Police SI Constable Recruitment 2017 to fill in the vacancies of 233. Assam Police department has divided the vacancies under these categories Inspector, Sub Inspector, constable and Head constable. Educational qualification

For the post of SI:

Applying candidates must possess a degree in arts/commerce/science from any recognized Institute or university.

For the post of Constable: Applying candidates should have completed 12th standard.

Age limitation

The minimum age to appear is 20 years of age.

Physical eligibility

Height of the candidates as per the notification 2017 are mentioned below

Pay scale : ranges from Rs.5200-Rs.20200/ per mont.

Application fees : The Application fee for the General Category students is Rs 1000. The Assam Board has fixed the Application fee for SC, ST and OBS as Rs 750. For Rest all the candidates the department has fixed an Application fee of Rs.1000/.  To know more details refer to the official notification.

For General /OBC/MOBC/SC Candidates should be 162.56 cm (5’3″)

For the ST(H)/ST(P) candidates should be 160.02 cm (5’2″)

For Female Candidates  

For General /OBC/MOBC/SC Candidates should be 154.94 cm (5’1″)

For the ST(H)/ST(P) candidates should be 152.40 cm (5′)

Chest size for the candidates

The Normal Chest of the All the category candidates should be 80 cm (31.5’’) – 85 cm (33.5’’) Expanded For Gen/OBC/MOBC/ SC/ ST (P)78 cm(30.5’’) Normal – 83 cm (32.5’’) Expanded for ST (H).
