The Teachers Recruitment Board has released the latest notification for Lecturer, Junior Lecturer and Senior Lecturer of total number of vacancies as 272. Check in all details here at one step.
Know about TRB
Teacher’s Recruitment Board is a state body of Tamilnadu. It conducts examination for eligible candidates for latest teacher jobs in Tamilnadu state. Its head office is at Chennai. It conducts the examinations for TNTET, Special teacher and Professors every year. Annually lakhs of candidates had engaged in these recruitment notifications and the board shortlisted the candidates through various selection processes. Likewise this year, the application form are invited upto 5.30 pm on 30th July 2016 for direct recruitment for 3 various posts such as Senior Lecturers – 38, Lecturers – 166 and Junior Lecturers – 68 these all under the State Council of Educational Research and Training ( SCERT). Interested candidates have to check whether you fulfil the requirement such as Qualification, Age, Etc.
Educational Qualification
Senior Lecturer: The candidates must possess Master degree with not less than 50% marks and M.Ed with 55% marks. In addition to this, teaching experience for 5years is must at any Recognized Teaching institute of Tamil Nadu state.
Lecturer: Master degree with not less than 50 % marks in Tamil, English, Mathematics,Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, History and Geography and M.Ed for lecturers in language or Subjects and M.P.Ed for Lecturers in Physical Education with 55% Marks.
Junior Lecturer: Masters degree with not less than 50% marks in Tamil, Telugu, English, Mathematics,Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, History and Geography and M.Ed degree with 55% Marks.
Age Criteria
The candidates must attain 57 years and not to exceed as on 31st July 2016.
Reservation details
The women candidates will get reservation of 30%, Reservation for PSTM Person studied in Tamil Medium will get 20%, General – 31%, BC – 26.5%, BCM – 3.5%, ST – 1% ,SC- 18%. Pay Scale
The Pay scale are listed for all three posts as follows, Senior Lecturers – Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay Rs.5700/- , Lecturers – Rs.9300 – 34800 with Grade Pay Rs.4800/-, and Junior Lecturers – Rs.9300 – 34800 with Grade Pay Rs.4600/-
TRB Exam Pattern
The Selection Process will be 2 levels such as Written Exam and Certificate Verification. The Written exam consists of Single Paper such as has 3 sections are Main Subject for 70 marks, Education Methodology for 70 Marks and General Knowledge for 10 Marks. Thus total of 150 marks. The Time duration will be 3 Hours i.e. 10 am to 1pm. The minimum qualifying marks as per category wise as follows, SC – 45%, ( 68 Marks) , ST – 40% ( 60 marks) and Others- 50 % ( 75 Marks). The written exam planned to be held on 17th September 2016. The shortlisted candidates from written exam will be called for Certificate Verification on scheduled date according to the cut off marks decided by the board.
Application Form Fee
The OMR Application Form along with Prospectus can be Purchased from 15.07.2016 to 30.07.2016 in Person from the Office of the Chief Education Officers of all 32 District in Tamil Nadu on Payment of Rs.50/- in Cash towards the Cost of the Application Form and Prospectus. The Candidates are advised to Submit the Filled in Application Form at the Office of the Chief Education Officer Concern on or before 30.07.2016 Upto 05.30 PM. The candidates are asked NOT to send the filled in application forms by POST.
Once you paid the Application fee, you will be given acknowledgement receipt in prescribed format.
Examination Fee
The Examination Fee for Unreserved candidates is Rs. 500 and for Reserved, SC,& ST is Rs.250. This payment should be done only through offline mode. The Exam fee can be paid only through any branch of INDIAN Bank, INDIAN overseas Bank and Canara Bank using prescribed format of challan which will be along with Prospectus. The copy of TRB challan has to be kept with the prospectus in separate envelope.
