Every year, Tamilnadu Public Service Commission conducts TNPSC Group 1, Group 2, Group 4 and VAO; which has more number of vacancies when compared to the TNPSC Group 3, 3A, 7 and 8 examinations. UPSC aspirants, candidates who studied in English medium and Tamil medium have applied and wrote the TNPSC VAO 2016 examination conducted by the recruitment board. Candidates those who prepared only for TNPSC examination have answered 160 questions out of 200 questions. But UPSC aspirant have answered only 140 marks in VAO examinations, this is due to lack of proper preparation of the Samacheer books. UPSC aspirants used to study the NCERT books.
TNPSC Group 1, 2, 2A – Changes
In TNPSC Group 1, 2, 2A examinations, questions will be asked in the degree standard. UPSC aspirants answer more than 140 questions in the TNPSC Group 1, 2, 2A examinations. But few of the TNPSC aspirants answer 140 questions in the examinations. This is due to memorising the subjects in Samacheer Kalvi books. Usually, UPSC aspirants refer 2 or 3 book for the preparation of the competitive examination. But TNPSC aspirant used to study only the Samacheer Kalvi books.
