விடை: ஆ. பெண்களுக்கான தேசிய ஆணையம்

• பெண்களுக்கான தேசிய ஆணையமானது நான்காம் கட்ட டிஜிட்டல் சக்தி பிரச்சாரத்தைத் தொடங்கியுள்ளது. இது எந்தவொரு சட்டத்துக்குப்புறம்பான (அ) பொருத்தமற்ற இணையவழி நடவடிக்கைகளுக்கும் எதிராக பெண்களுக்கு விழிப்புணர்வை ஏற்படுத்துகிறது. இது இணையவெளியில் பெண்களை எண்ம முறையில் மேம்படுத்துதல் மற்றும் திறமையாக்குதல் ஆகியவற்றுக்கான ஓர் இந்தியத் திட்டமாகும். சைபர்பீஸ் அறக்கட்டளை மற்றும் மெட்டாவுடன் இணைந்து டிஜிட்டல் சக்தி பிரச்சாரம் கடந்த 2018ஆம் ஆண்டில் தொடங்கப்பட்டது. இத்திட்டத்தின் மூன்றாம் கட்டம் 2021 மார்ச்சில் தொடங்கியது.

• ஓய்வூதிய நிதி ஒழுங்குமுறை மற்றும் மேம்பாட்டு ஆணையமானது தேசிய ஓய்வூதிய அமைப்பு அறக்கட்டளையின் (NPS அறக்கட்டளை) தலைவராக சூரஜ் பானை நியமித்துள்ளது. தேசிய ஓய்வூதிய அமைப்பின் (NPS) கீழ் நிதிகளை நிர்வகிப்பதற்கு இவ்வறக்கட்டளை பொறுப்பாகும். கடந்த 1983இல் இந்தியப் பொருளாதாரச் சேவையில் சேர்ந்த சூரஜ் பான் சண்டிகரில் உள்ள தொழிலாளர் பணியகத்தின் தலைமை இயக்குநராகப் பணியாற்றி ஓய்வுபெற்றார்.

• பெங்களூரு தொழில்நுட்ப உச்சிமாநாட்டின் (BTS–22) வெள்ளிவிழா பதிப்பை பிரதமர் நரேந்திர மோதி தொடங்கி வைத்தார். வெள்ளிவிழாக் கொண்டாட்டத்தை முன்னிட்டு கர்நாடக மாநில முதலமைச்சர் பசவராஜ பொம்மை நினைவு வில்லை ஒன்றை வெளியிட்டார். இதன் தொடக்க விழாவில் பிரான்ஸ் அதிபர் இம்மானுவேல் மேக்ரான் மற்றும் ஐக்கிய அரபு அமீரகம், ஆஸ்திரேலியா மற்றும் பின்லாந்து அமைச்சர்கள் கலந்துகொண்டனர். மாநில தகவல் தொழில்நுட்பத் துறையும், உயிரித்தொழில்நுட்பம் மற்றும் அறிவியல் மற்றும் தொழில்நுட்பத் துறையும் இந்தியாவின் மென்பொருள் தொழில்நுட்ப பூங்காக்களுடன் இணைந்து இந்த நிகழ்வை ஏற்பாடு செய்திருந்தது.

• NITI ஆயோக்கின் முழுநேர உறுப்பினராக மூத்த பொருளாதார நிபுணர் டாக்டர் அரவிந்த் விர்மானியை அரசாங்கம் நியமித்துள்ளது. “பொருளாதார வளர்ச்சி மற்றும் நலனுக்கான அறக்கட்டளை” என்ற இலாப நோக்கற்ற பொதுக் கொள்கை அமைப்பின் நிறுவனர்–தலைவராக அவர் உள்ளார். 2007–09 வரை நிதி அமைச்சகத்தில் தலைமைப் பொருளாதார ஆலோசகராகவும் அவர் பணியாற்றியுள்ளார். தற்போது, NITI ஆயோக்கில் மூன்று உறுப்பினர்கள் உள்ளனர். அவர்கள்: டாக்டர் V K சரஸ்வத், பேராசிரியர் இரமேஷ் சந்த் மற்றும் டாக்டர் V K பால்.

• உள்துறை அமைச்சகத்தின் அண்மைய தரவுகளின்படி, கடந்த ஆண்டு (2021) COVID கட்டுப்பாடுகள் மற்றும் விசா விதிமுறைகளின் நீட்டிக்கப்பட்ட காலத்தில் 15 இலட்சத்திற்கும் அதிகமான வெளிநாட்டினர் இந்தியாவிற்கு வருகை தந்துள்ளனர். இந்தக் காலகட்டத்தில் அதிகபட்சமாக இந்தியாவுக்கு வருகைதந்த வெளிநாட்டவர்கள் அமெரிக்கர்கள் (4.29 இலட்சம்) ஆவர. அதைத் தொடர்ந்து வங்கதேசத்தினர் (2.4 இலட்சம்) உள்ளனர். 2021ஆம் ஆண்டில் மொத்தம் பத்து நாடுகளைச் சார்ந்த வெளிநாட்டினர் இந்தியாவிற்கு வருகை புரிந்தனர். அது மொத்தம் 74.39 சதவீதம் ஆகும்.

• உத்தர பிரதேச மாநில முதலமைச்சர் யோகி ஆதித்யநாத் வட இந்தியாவின் முதல் மிகையளவு தரவு மையமான ‘யோட்டா டி1’ஐ திறந்து வைத்தார். `5,000 கோடி செலவில் 3,00,000 சதுர அடி பரப்பளவில் இந்தத் தரவு மையம் கட்டப்பட்டுள்ளது. `39,000 கோடி மதிப்பிலான புரிந்துணர்வு ஒப்பந்தங்கள் உபி மாநில அரசுக்கும் ஹிரானந்தானி குழுமத்துக்கும் இடையே திட்டங்களுக்குச் செலவிடும் நோக்கில் போடப்பட்டுள்ளன. இந்தத் தரவு மையப் பூங்காவில் மொத்தம் ஆறு தரவு மையங்கள் அமைந்திருக்கும்.

• கர்நாடக மாநிலம் இவ்வாண்டு 67ஆம் கன்னட இராஜ்யோத்சவாவை கொண்டாடும் நிலையில், ‘இராஜ்யோத்சவ விருது’ பெறுபவர்களின் பெயர்களை கர்நாடக மாநில அரசு அறிவித்துள்ளது. இவ்விருது பல்வேறு துறைகளில் குறிப்பிடத்தக்க சேவையாற்றிய சிறந்த நபர்களுக்கு ஆண்டுதோறும் வழங்கப்படுகிறது. ISROஇன் முன்னாள் தலைவர் K சிவன், கூட்டுறவுச் சங்கங்களை பிரபலப்படுத்திய சோலிகர மடம்மா, யக்ஷகானா கலைஞர் டாக்டர் M பிரபாகர் ஜோஷி உள்ளிட்ட 67 பேர் விருது இவ்வாண்டில் இவ்விருதுக்குத் தகுதி பெற்றுள்ளனர்.

• உலகளாவிய நகரமயமாக்கலை ஊக்குவிப்பதற்கு சர்வதேச ஒத்துழைப்பின் அவசியத்தை எடுத்துக்காட்டுவதற்காக ஒவ்வோர் ஆண்டும் அக்.31 அன்று உலக நகரங்கள் நாள் கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது. ஒவ்வோர் ஆண்டும் வெவ்வேறு நகரம் இந்நாளின் நிகழ்வை நடத்துகிறது. சீனாவின் ஷாங்காய் இவ்வாண்டுக்கான (2022) நிகழ்வை நடத்துகிறது. “சிறந்த நகரம், சிறந்த வாழ்வு” என்பது உலக நகரங்கள் நாளுக்கான பொதுமையான கருப்பொருளாக அந்த நாள் உருவாக்கப்பட்ட நாளிலிருந்தே உள்ளது. இந்த ஆண்டுக்கான (2022) துணைக் கருப்பொருள், “Act Local to Go Global” என்பதாக உள்ளது.

• வடகிழக்கிந்தியாவின் முதலாவது ‘மீன் அருங்காட்சியகம்’ அருணாச்சல பிரதேச மாநிலத்தில் அமைக்கப்படவுள்ளது. அருணாச்சல பிரதேச மாநிலத்தில் தற்போதுள்ள டாரின் மீன் பண்ணையானது ஒருங்கிணைந்த நீர்மப் பூங்காவாக மேம்படுத்தப்படும்; அந்தப் பூங்காவில் அருங்காட்சியகம் அமைக்கப்படும். பிரதம மந்திரி மத்ஸ்ய சம்பத் யோஜனாவின் (PMMSY) கீழ் ஒவ்வொரு மாநிலத்திற்கும் யூனியன் பிரதேசத்திற்கும் ஓர் ஒருங்கிணைந்த நீர்மப் பூங்கா அமைக்க அனுமதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

• ‘இந்தியாவின் எஃகு மனிதர்’ என்று அழைக்கப்படும் ஜாம்ஷெட் J இரானி, சமீபத்தில் ஜாம்ஷெட்பூரில் தனது 86ஆம் வயதில் காலமானார். டாடா எஃகு நிறுவனத்தின் நிர்வாக இயக்குநராக 1992இல் அவர் பணியேற்றார். 2001இல் அவர் ஓய்வுற்றார். 43 ஆண்டுகால பணியாற்றலுக்குப் பின் 2011 ஜூன் மாதம் டாடா எஃகு குழுமத்திலிருந்து இரானி ஓய்வுற்றார். தொழிற்துறையில் அவராற்றிய பங்களிப்பிற்காக 2007இல் ‘பத்ம பூஷன்’ விருது பெற்றார். டாக்டர் இரானி, கடந்த 2008ஆம் ஆண்டில் உலோகவியலில் தனது சேவைகளுக்காக இந்திய அரசாங்கத்தால், ‘வாழ்நாள் சாதனையாளர்’ விருதைப் பெற்றார்.

• National Commission for Women (NCW) launched the fourth phase of Digital Shakti Campaign, to make women aware to stand against any illegal or inappropriate online activity. It is a pan–India project on digitally empowering and skilling women in cyberspace. Digital Shakti campaign was launched in 2018, in collaboration with CyberPeace Foundation and Meta. The third phase of the programme started in March 2021.

• Pension Fund Regulatory & Development Authority has appointed Suraj Bhan as the chairman of the National Pension System Trust (NPS Trust). The trust is responsible for managing funds under the National Pension System (NPS). He joined the Indian Economic Service in 1983 and retired as Director General of Labour Bureau, Chandigarh.

• Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the silver jubilee edition of the Bengaluru Tech Summit (BTS 22). To mark the silver jubilee celebration Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommai released a plaque. The inauguration ceremony was attended by French President Emmanuel Macron and ministers from UAE, Australia and Finland. The event was organised by the state Department of IT, Biotechnology and Science & Technology in association with Software Technology Parks of India (STPI).

• The government has appointed senior economist Dr Arvind Virmani as a full–time member of the NITI Aayog. He was the founder–chairman of the non–profit public policy organisation ‘Foundation for Economic Growth and Welfare’. He has also served as the Chief Economic Advisor in the Ministry of Finance from 2007–09. At present, NITI Aayog has three members– Dr V K Saraswat, Professor Ramesh Chand and Dr V K Paul.

• As per the recent Home Ministry data, over 15 lakh foreigners, had visited India last year when the country was on an extended period of Covid restrictions and visa regulations. The maximum number of foreigners who visited India during this period were from the United States (4.29 lakh), followed by Bangladesh (2.4 lakh). Ten countries accounted for 74.39 per cent of the total arrival of foreigners during 2021.

• Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated North India’s first hyper–scale data centre ‘Yotta D1’. It was built at the cost of Rs 5,000 crore and spread over an area of 3,00,000 square feet. MoUs worth Rs 39,000 crore were also signed between the state Government and Hiranandani Group to be spent on projects. This data centre park will have a total of 6 data centres.

• The Karnataka government has announced the names of the recipients of ‘Rajyotsava Award’, as the state celebrates 67th Kannada Rajyotsava this year. It is an annual award presented to eminent persons who have rendered significant service in various fields. Former ISRO Chairman K Sivan, Soligara Madamma who popularised cooperatives, Yakshagana artiste Dr M Prabhakar Joshi are among the 67 awardees.

• The first of its kind ‘Fish Museum’ in the Northeast India would be built in Arunachal Pradesh. One IAP has been sanctioned for each state and Union territory under the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampad Yojana (PMMSY).

• Jamshed J Irani, also known as the steel man of India, passed away recently in Jamshedpur in the age of 86. He served as the Managing Director of Tata Steel in 1992 before retiring in 2001. Irani retired from the board of Tata Steel in June 2011, leaving behind a legacy of 43 years. He was conferred the Padma Bhushan in 2007 for his contribution to industry.  Dr Irani was also the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Government of India in 2008 for his services in metallurgy.
