AIPVT Results 2016 merit list aipvt.vci.nic.in : Veterinary Council of India announces the schedule of All India Pre-Veterinary Test for the admission in Veterinary College for the B. V. Sc and A. H courses. The board started the application form submission from 8th January 2016. The application submission closed on 7th February. Board announced the exam date for which a large number of contenders are attended for the exam on 14th May 2016. The examination is conducted in many authorized centers which were allocated by the board. Now the contenders are waiting for results as they finished their written exam. The board is going to release results as soon as possible. It is going to release them on the official site. Suitable candidates in the exam will be selected based on candidates score in the exam. Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 (52 of 1984) was enacted in 1984 and was published in the Extraordinary Gazette of India dated 21st August,1984 to regulate veterinary practice and to provide for that purpose, for the establishment of Veterinary Council of India and State Veterinary Councils and maintenance of Registers of veterinary practitioners and for matters connected therewith. Subsequent to enactment of the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984, the Central Government (Ministry of Agriculture) wide Gazette Notification dated 2nd August 1989 for the first time constituted the Veterinary Council of India by nominating the Members as per the provisions of section 4 read with section 3 of the Act. Further, nominations were made by the Central Government from time to fill up the vacancies.
