All we know, TANCET exam is conducted by Anna University. Tancet exam is organised for admission into M.E and M.TECH in all over tamilnadu. TANCET exam is conducted on June 12th 2016 for M.E/M.Tech/M.Arch/M.Plan and held for MCA, MBA on 11th June 2016. Now the Students are in hurry to know the Tancet answer key and Tancet result. TANCET exam is also called as Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test. It was established in the year 1798 and its headquarters located at in Tamil Nadu, India. AU University was split into six constituent universities such as Chennai (Campus), Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Tiruchirappalli, and Tirunelveli.

TANCET 2016 Cutoff

The Admissions will be on the basis of the ranking obtained by the candidates. Cutoffs are not available as Anna University has not announced details of the same. However candidates will be ranked on the basis of a normalization for the Section III of the TANCET 2016 Question Paper using the formula Normalized marks = 40 + (10/s) (r – m). The mean (m) mark and the standard deviation (s) of raw marks (r) may vary from discipline to discipline under Part – III. The formula gives the relative ranking of the candidates in any discipline.

TANCET 2016 Counseling Process

The counselling and Admissions will be held through a separate process – TANCA 2016. Candidates who have qualified in GATE 2016 or TANCET 2016 will be required to apply separately for TANCA 2016. Separate Rank Lists will be prepared for the candidates on the basis of the entrance exam – GATE or TANCET. Seat allotment will be on the basis of the Rank of the candidate and the options entered by candidates.
