AP 10th Class Details
AP, Andhra Pradesh is one of the most developing states of India. A large number of developments have been made in this state. One of the major changes that have been made is in the field of education. In order to compensate with the fast growing economy many new changes have been made in the education system of AP. The board which takes the responsibility for education in AP is Board of Secondary Education of Andhra Pradesh it is shortly represented as (BSEAP) and it is also known as Directorate Government of Examination (DGE). This board came into existence in the year 1953 and it takes the main responsibility for the process of conducting SSC, which is called as Secondary School Certificate or Open School Society Certificate examination. Every year in the month of March it conducts examination and supplementary examination is conducted on May or June.
New CCE Exam Pattern for 2016-2017
The board has released the new exam pattern for the year 2016 to 2017. As per the announcement of the board the examination will be conducted for 80 marks.
- The exam is going to be conducted for 80 marks in which 40 marks will be awarded for each paper.
- And it is mentioned that 20 marks will be given for the internal assessment mark by the teachers in the particular school.
- For example we can take science as a concern subject. Earlier the main paper consists of 23 questions and it was for 35 marks. And the bit paper consists of 30 questions which were conducted for 15 marks.
- At present due to the change in the exam pattern, the mains will be conducted for 20 marks with 13 questions and bit paper will have 20 questions carrying 10 marks.
- Earlier the exam time was 2hours and 30 minutes but now even there is change made in the timings to 2hours and 45 minutes.
- So this new exam pattern aims at giving choice for the students and also the questions will be in the form of long answers.
