AP DEECET 2016 Results Dietcet Cut off, Merit List Updated
Andhra Diploma in Elementary Education Common Entrance Test was conducted each year for the students of Andhra Pradesh to get admission for the D.ed courses. The School education department officials are about to release the result of this examination. AP DEECET 2016 Results Dietcet Cut off, Merit List Updated are provided in this article.
DEECET 2016 Result
Many of the students who dream to be a educator in the schools have to complete the B.ed or D.ed course as per the government rules. Hence many eligible students have registered for this examination and appeared on the May 17 to May 19 of 2016. The examination was held on the authorized examination centres. As this is a two year course of training the teachers how to share the knowledge and how to handle the students in good manner. Hence to train students the teachers should be knowledgeable. To check the knowledge level of the candidates this examination is conducted as a screening. This examination have two parts of questions. In Part A Teaching aptitude, General Knowledge, General Science, Social Studies, English, Telugu, Maths and Mathematics aptitude, Physical Science, Biology and Social Studies in part B.
As the candidates already faced the examination through online mode. Now each one of them is waiting eagerly for its result.
AP D.ed Cut Off Marks
As the competition was very high in all the fields. The competitors for this entrance examination to grab the seat in the D.ed course is also high. Nearly 80 thousands of candidates who have attended this entrance examination every year. This year nearly 72000 candidates attended the examination to get seat in 700 D.ed Colleges. The cut off mark is the tool to select the eligible candidates. As per the cut off marks the candidates who score above the Cut off will be passed in the entrance examination and will get call for the counselling procedures. The cut off marks will be declared by the officials of board of elementary education. With lot of hopes and dreams candidates are expecting for the result of DEECET 2016. The Cut off of DEECET will be declared once the result is announced and the Cut off mark will be based on the No of Seats available with the colleges, No of candidates who have appeared for the examination and Difficulty of the examination.
Change in Cut Off Marks
The Andhra Pradesh government recently have concern about the total no of students who got selected for the D.ed course. The qualifying cut off was declared by the officials as OC/OBC candidates as 50 Percent and for the SC/ST candidates as 45 Percent. So, even many students dream to pursue the D.ed courses only 11000 students will get admission because of this cut off marks which is only 50 percent of the total no of seats. Hence the officials of the Colleges demanded the examination authority to decrease the cut off marks.

Dietcet Merit List
The Merit List is based on the performance of the candidates and also based on category they fall off. As the Merit list prepared on the ascending order of highest mark scored will be first. The Selected candidates will be called for the counselling in which dates will be announced soon.
Based on the merit list the candidates allowed for the further processes such as Counselling registration, Depositing the counselling fees if applicable, online choice locking and filling, Checking allotment list of colleges and depositing the admission fees. Before entering for the counselling the document verification process will be done.
