Smart Pulse Survey

The state government of Andhra Pradesh has planned to conduct a `Smart Pulse Survey` for collecting Socio-economic data of 1.48 crore households in the state. The State Cabinet on June 1 decided to conduct the first phase of the survey for determining the socio-economic status and to collect relevant details of each household of the state. Revenue and civic staff have planned to go round the houses and collect the data during the dates that have been decided by the government. The government has also appointed senior IAS officers, who have previously served as Collectors, as nodal officers for the 13 districts to check the survey.

Survey Information

As per the information by the government the Revenue Department will be conducting this survey. This department has been specialized by giving Special Tabs and Laptops for their surveyors. The survey will be in a way like 20 minutes for each family. And it is estimated that about 4550 tabs will be used to conduct the survey to achieve transparency.
