Educational Qualification :
1. Senior Assistant Engineer (CSS) :
• Ex-servicemen retired/serving officers retiring shortly from Navy/ Air Force/ Army / Indian Coast Guard personnel with 3 years Diploma in Engineering or equivalent in Electronics/Electronics & Communication /Electronics & Telecommunication/ Communication/ Tele-communication/Electrical & Electronics/ Electrical discipline in the rank of JCO or equivalent having 15 years & above post qualification (Professional) experience. First class for General & OBC candidates and Pass class for SC/ST candidates.
Experience:
• 15 years or more relevant post qualification experience in working with various Electronics/ Electrical Equipments in Armed Forces(Navy/ Air Force/ Army / Indian Coast Guard) viz. Radars, Communication Radios systems, Weapon systems, Missile and Fire Control systems, Electronic Warfare systems etc. Candidate with experience in IT Hardware, networking and server/storage will be an added advantage. Work experience in BEL supplied equipment also will be given preference.
2. Senior Assistant Engineer (WFS/PS) E – I Grade:
• Ex-servicemen retired/serving officers retiring shortly from Navy/ Air Force/ Army / Coast Guard personnel with 3 years Diploma in Engineering or equivalent in Electronics/Electronics & Communication /Electronics & Telecommunication/ Communication/ Tele-communication/Electrical & Electronics/ Electrical discipline in the rank of JCO or equivalent having 15 years & above post qualification (Professional) experience. First class for General & OBC candidates and Pass class for SC/ST candidates.
EXPERIENCE:
• 15 years or more relevant post qualification experience in working with Defence Electronic Equipment during their tenure in Defence Service. Candidates with experience in having worked in NSRY (Port Blair) or with BEL Equipment will be given preference
