Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Exam 2019
CTET or the Central Teacher Eligibility Test is one of the entrance test conducted by the CBSE or the Central Board of Secondary Education from UGC that is University Grants Commission. This exam acts as a gateway for many candidates to achieve their dream of getting Central Government jobs in various Schools, other educational institutions. And the authority board conducts this exam twice in a year for the benefit of the students. The first phase is conducted in the month of June and second exam will be conducted in the month of December. And the authority board passes the notification two months before the commencement for the exam. Only those aspirants whose rank is higher will get the qualified into the examination.
Central Teacher Eligibility Test Eligibility Criteria
The candidates having the following minimum educational qualification are eligible for appearing in CTET
Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V:
Primary Stage Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) or they should have got Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed) or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education)
Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes VI-VIII: Elementary Stage:
Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) or a graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). Or Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. Or a Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed).

- First the aspirants have to log on to the official website by entering the web address ctet.nic.in.
- The homepage of the authority will appear on screen.
- In that read the instruction on CTET examination.
- Then click on Registration link.
- A new page will appear on screen.
- Fill the application form.
- Attach the documents mentioned.
- Upload the photograph and signature.
- Recheck your application for mistakes.
- Remit the application fees.
- Finally click on Submit
- Your application will be sent to the authority.
- Take a print of it for future reference.
