The Commissionerate of Health and Family Welfare of Andhra Pradesh government has issued their notification for Medical field. Here comes the interesting news to all candidates who aspirating towards Medical field. Go one step below to check the complete details of the recruitment process. This recruitment is going to fill up with 1800 vacancies of Medical Officer, Medical Officer (Ayush), ANM and Pharmacist.

About CHFW

The role and responsibility of Commissioner of Health & Family Welfare is implementation of Maternal and Child Health Care and Family Welfare services in the State viz. Family Planning, Antenatal Care, Postnatal Care including Immunization services. The focus is mainly on promotive and preventive care. Family Welfare Programme is a Centrally Sponsored Programme with 100% financial assistance from Govt. of India from Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. Certain schemes are also assisted by State Government. External aided agencies are also assisting for the activities under National Rural Health Mission.

Vacancies

The Total vacancies is 1800, whereas post wise allotment is given for Medical Officers with 675, Medical Officer (AYUSH)  with 225, Auxillary Nurse Midwife with 450 and Pharmacist with 450. This vacancies is available across 13 districts. Such as Srikakulam,Visakhapatnam,Guntur,Krishna,East Govari,Vizag, Prakasam,Nellore,Chittore,Kadapa,Ananthupuram and Kurnool.

Qualification Eligibility

The candidates must possess specified degree in stream of Ayurveda/Unani/Homeopathy/Naturopathy awarded by the University of India. SSC with 18 months MPHW training certificate recognised by the AP Nursing and Midwife Council or 2 years Intermediate vocational course and have completed 1year clinical training for ANM Post. The Pharmacist should possess SSC with Diploma in Pharmacy and registered with pharmacy council and computer skills. Other post qualification can be seen in notification.

Age Eligibility

The minimum age is 18 years and maximum is 44 years as on 01.07.2016 will be considered for the recruitment process. The relaxation of age for all category as follows as per rules,

A} For SC, ST & BC is 5 years

B} For Ex- Service men is 3 years

C} For Disabled persons is 10 years

The unit of reservation for all post with local reservation of 80%

Recruitment Process

The qualifying examination conducted for 90 marks and 10 marks will be awarded for the age.

For Ex: If weightage of age will be added as follows, if you are 18 ages means 0.5 mark will be awarded and if candidate complete 40 years as on 01.07.2016, he or she will be given 10 Marks.

Thus Merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained with above criteria. This merit list will be final for selection process.

Salary Remuneration

The selected candidates will get package of Rs.30,000 for both male and female Medical officers, Rs.22,000 for Medical Officer Ayush ( Both Male and Female), Auxillary Nurse Midwife and Pharmacist will be paid with Rs.10,00. To your kind notice, this job is contract basis. Every year new contract will be signed under valid period.

Enclose all self attested documents which are check listed below. A person can apply more than one district. If completed means, you all need to send the application in person or through Registered Post to the respective district office on or before last date i.e 14th July 2016.

  • Intermediate Exam certificate
  • Qualifying Examination Pass certificate
  • Marks memos of all years.
  • Registration certificate of respective council
  • Caste certificate issued by the Tashildhar or MRO concerned
  • Study certificate from class 4th to class 10th if Private study residence certificate from Tashildhar or MRO concerned
  • PH Certificate
  • Certificate if claiming Ex. Serviceman Quota
  • One Photograph – affix it
  • Acknowledgement card
