Know about CGPSC
The Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission is commonly known as CGPSC. The state of Chhattisgarh is came into existence on 1st November 2000 under the re-organisation of Madhya Pradesh. The Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission was established on 23rd May 2001 under the provision of Act 315 of the Constitution of India. The primary functions of this Commission are to conduct examinations for the appointments in the state and also advise the state government on all matters related to state civil service, eligibility, transfer and promotions. This recruitment for Assistant Engineer includes Civil Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers and Agriculture Engineer posts. The aspirants can check exam pattern and syllabus which is given below. Just make a glance through it.
Question pattern
The aspirants need to appear for two papers. The First Paper includes General Studies for 300 marks and 150 questions will be asked. Likewise, Paper II asked from Engineering subjects for 300 marks. The time duration for each section will be 2 and half hours 2:30 hrs. Both the paper will be written exam of Objective type Multiple choice questions. General Studies: Indian History, Indian Constitution, Indian Environment, Water, Metal, General Knowledge, Computer Knowledge & About Chhattisgarh Government.
Civil Engineering: Solid Mechanics, Structural Analysis, Design of Steel Structures, Fluid Mechanics, Hydrology and Water Resources Engineering & Geo Technical Engineering.
Mechanical Engineering: Engineering Mechanics and Mechanics of Solids, Theory of Machines, Design of Machine Element, Production Engineering, Thermo Dynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Energy Conversion System & Heat and Mass Transfer.
Electrical Engineering: Electromagnetic Field Theory, Electronics, Power Electronics Circuits, Power Systems, Problem Associated with Modern Interconnected Power Systems & Electrical Machine.
Agriculture: Farm Power, Farm Equipment and Machinery, Introduction to Renewable Energy Sources, Engineering Properties of Biological Materials, Surveying, Irrigation, Soil and water Conservation Energy & Remote Sensing.
