Eligibility: To be eligible for the CSIR–CSMCRI Project Associate-I positions, candidates must meet certain criteria set by the institute. The basic eligibility criteria are as follows:
Project Associate-I – M.Sc in Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Marine Science (OR) B. Tech in Biotechnology. Sufficient knowledge / prior experience in microalgae cultivation and ready to work for outdoor cultivation of microalgae in Mandapam, Bhavnagar and other field conditions.
Project Associate-I – B.Sc Chemistry. Sufficient knowledge / prior experience in designing reactors for chemical conversion, and performing mass and energy balance calculations.
Project Associate-I – B.Sc in Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Botany Perform routine lab work and also perform outdoor cultivation of microalgae in Mandapam, Bhavnagar and other field conditions.
Age Limit: The maximum age limit for the Project Associate-I positions is 35 to 50 years. Age relaxation may be applicable for candidates belonging to reserved categories as per government rules.
Salary: The selected candidates for the Project Associate-I positions will receive a monthly stipend Rs. 20,000/-per month + admissible HRA as per rules and regulations of CSIR–CSMCRI.
