The Directorate of Coldwater Fisheries Research ( DCFR) announced the recruitment of Young Professionals I & II Posts. The candidates who are eligible and are interested in this recruitment can send their applications.

• 21 to 45 Years
Salary :
• Young Professionals I : Rs.25,000/-
• Young Professionals II : Rs.35,000/-
Educational Qualification :
1. Young Professional -II :
• Post graduation in Life science or Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology or Graduate degree holder in Engineering Technology/ Veterinary Science in relevant field.
Desirable :
• Experience in conventional PCR, handling of aquatic micro-organisms and operation of Scientific Equipments. Candidates must be willing to travel Frequently in high hill areas for sampling. Note: Candidates with ICAR/CSIR /UGC NET will be given preference.
2. Young Professional -I :
• Graduation or diploma in life sciences/ B.F.Sc/ B. Sc in Basic sciences/ B. Tech in Biotechnology.
Desirable :
• Working experience in handling fish pathogens, aquatic micro-organisms, conventional PCR and operation of scientific Equipments.
Note:
• Candidates must be willing to travel Frequently in high hill areas.
3. Young Professional -II :
• Master in Fisheries Science / Zoology / Environmental Science.
Desirable Experience :
• Research experience in Aquaculture with working knowledge in fish maintenance, breeding, and culture. Good working knowledge in computer, data processing and interpretation of result
Note:
• Candidates with ICAR/CSIR /UGC NET will be given preference.
4. Young Professional -I :
• Master in Fisheries Science / M.Sc. (Zoology) Desirable Experience : Research experience in fisheries and aquaculture. Working experience on histology and nutrient analysis will be preferred.
5. Young Professional -II :
• Post Graduation in Fisheries Economics/ Agriculture Economics.
Desirable :
• Experience in water quality analysis, Fish and Plankton sampling.
• Good knowledge in taxonomy and biology of fishes.
• The candidate must be willing to travel frequently in high altitude areas of Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and North East India.
• Excellent computer documentation and analytical skills.
• Candidates with ICAR/CSIR /UGC NET will be given preference.
6. Young Professional -I :
• B.F.Sc./B.Sc. in Fisheries Science/diploma in fisheries science.
Desirable :
• Experience in water quality analysis, Fish and Plankton sampling.
• The candidate must be willing to travel frequently in high altitude areas of Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and North East India.
• Excellent computer documentation and analytical skills
