Points about DU

The Delhi University is also known as DU University. It is the premier university of the country and is also for its high standards in teaching, research and attracts eminent scholars to its faculty. The University was established in the year 1922 as a Unitary of teaching and residential university by an Act of the central Legislative Assembly. It is the role model and path setter for other Universities in the country. DU PG exam 2016

Earlier the DU conducted JAT- Joint Admission Test on various centres such as Delhi, Varanasi, Jammu, Ahmedabad, Kolkatta and Chennai. The main aim to conduct this entrance exam is to get through admission into various 60 courses in PG alone. Around 8,000 students will be placed every year in Delhi University, whereas 50% of the students will be placed through entrance exam performance and another 50% will be reserved for students of DU. The exam conducted in 3 sections such as 8am to 10am , 12am to 2pm and 4pm to 6pm. The exam pattern will be of multiple choice objective type questions which is OMR based exam.

DU results

The entrance exam for PG courses is very important to get admission into colleges. Once written exam completed, the results will be published with the rank list. That is according to cut off marks, the students will be listed in rank wise. Thus from rank list, the candidates will be called for counselling and offer the courses as per candidate’s wishes or availability. On the day of exam results, the website will be overloaded by heavy traffic because of more number of accessibilities such that you may face problems like ‘Page can’t be displayed’ or ‘Error in loading’. How to download Results

Don’t know how to download or see your results??? It’s very simple, just follow us. Click the URL to download your results. On the Homepage, you will find the ‘University results link’ on the right side. Now you need to check the correct link where you can see number of links listed year wise. Such that you will be asked to enter your Roll Number and click on ‘SUBMIT’ Button. Thus your results will be displayed. If you want to print, there is provision to take print out and please make use of it.

  • Entrance Test Hall Ticket
  • Original and attested photocopy of the Class XII and Degree mark sheet
  • Original and Attested Xerox copy of the Class X passing certificate
  • Caste/ Category certificate, as stipulated (for the candidates belonging to reserved categories)
  • Income certificate of parents
  • Counselling call letter
  • 4-6 colour passport size photographs
  • Other documents mentioned in the announcement notification.

Note: To take copy of OMR sheet, she or he can make request for it within 7 days from the date of results by paying payment of Rs.500 as DD.
