Salary :
• Lab Technician : Rs.15,000/-
• Other Posts : Rs.12,000/-
Educational Qualification :
1.ECG Technician :
• Must have passed PUC under old regulations; (or) A pass in Plus 2 course with eligibility for University course of study. And
• Must have passed one year certificate course in Electro Cardiogram or Treadmill Technician conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu.
2. Anaesthesia Technician :
•A pass in Higher Secondary Course with the Science Subjects:- (i) Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology;(or) (ii) Physics, Chemistry and Biology, and
• Must have passed one year Certificate Course in Anaesthesia Technician conducted at Government Medical Institution by the Board of Para Medical Education under the Directorate of Medical Education, Government of Tamil Nadu or King Institute of Preventive Medicine and Research, Guindy or from any other Institution recognised by the State or Central Government.
3. Pharmacist :
• A Diploma in Pharmacy.
• Must have registered with Tamil Nadu Pharmacy Council and must keep the registration alive by renewing it regularly every year.
4. Lab Technician :
• Diploma or Certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology course (two years duration) conducted by the King Institute of Preventive Medicine or from any other institution recognised by the Government of Tamil Nadu for this purpose. Provided that, if candidates with the above qualification are not available, then candidates with Certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology (One year duration) conducted by the institutions recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu for this purpose shall be appointed.
