Eligibility Criteria :
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology (B.E./B.Tech) in disciplines like Electronics, Telecommunications, Electrical, or Computer Science from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks. Postgraduates in these fields may also apply. Applicants must also be proficient in the English language.
Age Limit: The upper age limit is 28 years, which can vary for different categories.
Age relaxations are available as per government norms:
OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
SC/ST: 5 years
Persons with Disabilities (PWD): 10 years.
Salary Details: Selected candidates will undergo training for a specific period. During the training period, the stipend will be provided as per HAL norms. Upon successful completion of training, candidates will be absorbed into the regular cadre, with salaries starting in the range of ₹40,000 to ₹1,40,000 (Level-6 of the pay matrix).
Selection Process:
Written Test: Candidates will need to clear an online or offline written examination. The exam will primarily test candidates on technical subjects, general knowledge, and aptitude relevant to air traffic control operations.
Interview: Candidates who clear the written exam will be called for an interview. The interview will assess communication skills, technical knowledge, and overall suitability for the position.
Medical Fitness: Candidates must meet the required medical fitness standards as prescribed by HAL.
