HVF Avadi has released their latest news of Admit card release for Tradesman Group C cadre. The aspirants who applied earlier can download their admit card from the official link. As the headquarters is in Chennai, not only people from Chennai participated but also other state people applied with more interest to set their career with government.

What is HVF

The HVF abbreviated as Heavy Vehicle Factory. The organization was established in the year 1965 by the Ordnance Factories Board. The HVF Headquarters is located in Chennai, and it will hire the candidates according to their requirement. The organization was under the control of Government of India to manufacture heavy battlefields equipment and including Vijayantas and T-72 tanks. Now HVF is producing India’s main battle tank Arjun and the T-90s. The primary function of setting the Heavy Vehicle Factory is to prepare the vehicles for Indian Army Battle Field. Like every year, this year also HVF released their notification before two months back for 661 vacancies and said that, 10th or 12th qualification with National trade certificate is enough.

HVF Recruitment

The notification says that, there are 661 vacancies, whereas two cadre are available such as Industrial Cadre and Non- Industrial Cadre. The Industrial cadre has 638 posts, which is allotted as Fitter General-171,Examiner-Fitter – 27 Posts,Fitter(Armoured Fighting Vehicle)–09, Machinist – 187, Examiner-Machinist – 11, Welder – 110,Examiner-Welder – 01,Electrician – 57 ,Examiner-Electrician – 07,Fitter Electronics – 41, Examiner-Fitter Electronics – 02, Electroplater – 10 and Painter – 05 Posts. Likewise,  Non-Industrial cadre has lower division clerk-13 Posts and Store Keeper has 10 Posts.

HVF Selection Process

The Selection Process consists of two levels such as Written Exam and Trade Test. It is easy to go through the selection process if you know the syllabus and exam pattern. To make your preparation simpler, we provided all those details below. The Written exam consists of two sections such as Part A has General Aptitude & Numerical Ability and technical subject as Part B. This exam takes place for 60 mins. i.e One hour. Once you clear the written exam will be qualified for next round of interview. Be prepared with many books which is readily available at the online website and you can also check our site for some solved question papers related to Aptitude.

e-Admit Card Download

Downloading process is very simple, the e-admit card consists of  candidate’s name, Photo uploaded during registration, Address, Roll number, Exam date and Venue. Please check the instruction which is given in that admit card before appearing the exam. You find difficult to download your e-admit card.  Go and visit your official website, click the link “Download admit card” ,Enter the particular data such as DOB and Roll no.,  Click the Submit button and Print the pdf format file of e-admit card for future use.

Important Data

Qualification: 10+2 with Apprentice certificate or National Trade Certificate.

Age Criteria: 18 to 32 years for Industrial cadre and 18 to 27 years for Non industrial cadre.

Pay scale: As per government norms as Rs.5200 to Rs.20200 Plus Grade pay of Rs.1900.

Application Fee paid:  Rs. 50 for OBC and General and for others, fee exempted.

  1. Hi the information which was given are useful and i have a question in most defence requiremen they ll mention ppl born specific date(e.g from 1 jan to 26 sep) if im applying for industrial cadre and if my age was 32yrs 2 mnth ll they accept.

      Thanks for reading. The age limit should be as on closure of application, that is 30th July 2016. For ex, if ur birth date is 24.9.1984(i.e.32yrs 2month).Then u r not applicable. Chk ur age as on 30.6.2016.
