Educational qualification :
1.Research Associate (RA) For NICRA Project :
• PhD or MSc/M.Tech/ME/MCA in computer science/ Information Technology with first class or >7.5% OGPA from a recognized university. Ii) Candidates should have done 4/5 years bachelor’s degree. Iii) Those with 3 years bachelor’s degree must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET/ MHRD-GATE qualification or Ph.D in any of above disciplines.(As per ICAR memorandum F.No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 13.07.2015 and F.No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 09.10.2015) iv) candidates having post graduate degree only, should have two years proven research experience with strong programming skills.
Desirable:
• Proficiency in satellite data analysis, GIS tools, development of algorithms, proficiency in C++, C#, Java, Python, R, ASP programming languages, Matlab and handling databases such as MySQL, knowledge crop simulation models, and analysis of climate model data.
2. Senior Research Fellow (SRF) For NICRA Project :
• M.Sc. / MCA / ME or M.Tech (Computer Sci./ Computer Engg /IT/ with first class / OGPA>7.5 from a recognized university. ii and iii same as in S.No.1
Desirable:
• Experience / Knowledge in 3D graphics/animation/ image processing, Configuring Web Map server, programming in R / IDL/ C#/ Python / Java script/Android and cloud computing/ web sources
3. Senior Research Fellow (SRF) For NICRA Project :
• M.Sc. in Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry/Agronomy/Chemistry/Biochemistry) with first class / OGPA>7.5 from a recognized university. ii and iii same as in S.No.1
4. Senior Research Fellow (SRF) For NICRA Project :
• MSc with specialization in Plant Biochemistry, Plant Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Plant Physiology, Life Science or equivalent) with first class / OGPA>7.5 from a recognized university. ii and iii same as in S.No.1
5. Senior Research Fellow (SRF) For NICRA Project :
• M.Sc. (Agronomy/ Soil Science / Ag Statistics )with first class / OGPA>7.5 from a recognized university. ii and iii same as in S.No.1
Desirable:
• Proficiency in computer use and data analysis.
6. Senior Research Fellow (SRF) For NICRA Project :
• Master’s degree in Genetics/Plant Breeding/Genetics and Plant Breeding/Biotechnology/Life Sciences with first class / OGPA>7.5 from a recognized university.
Desirable:
• Experience in molecular markers and proficiency in computer skills.
7. Young Professional – II (YP-II) For NICRA Project :
• MSc/M.Tech in Agricultural Engineering/ hydrology/water resources/ Geo-informatics with first class / OGPA>7.5 from a recognized university.
Desirable:
• Proficiency in use of hydrological models, computer skills.
8. Young Professional – II (YP-II) For NICRA Project :
• MSc in Computer Science/MCA with first class/OGPA>7.5 from a recognized university.
Desirable:
Proficiency in Python, Android.
9. Young Professional – II (YP-II) For NICRA Project :
• MSc in Genetics /Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Plant physiology/ Life Sciences. With first class/OGPA>7.5 from a recognized university.
Desirable qualifications:
• Working experience on molecular marker and computer applications
10. Young Professional – I(YP-I) For NICRA Project :
• MSc/MA/MCom with first class from a recognized university.
Desirable :
• Proven report writing skills and proficiency in computer usage, English, project file maintenance, etc
11. Young Professional – I(YP-I) For NICRA Project :
• M.Sc in Microbiology)/Environmental Sciences with first class from a recognized university.
Desirable criteria:
• PhD (Microbiology)/PhD in Environmental Science with good publications, data analysis and writing skills.
12. Young Professional – I(YP-I) For NICRA Project :
• B.Sc/B.Tech in any branch with first class from a recognized university.
Desirable:
• Proficiency in computer usage, English, project file maintenance, etc
13. Young Professional – II (YP-II) for DSTMRDP project :
•MSc/ M.Tech Agriculture/agronomy/physiology/hydrology/remote sensing/ agricultural engineering with first class/OGPA>7.5 from a recognized university.
Desirable:
• Work experience in using crop and hydrological simulation models
14. Young Professional – II (YP-II) for DSTMRDP project :
• MSc in Agriculture/ Horticulture with first class/OGPA>7.5 from a recognized university.
Desirable:
• Work experience in conducting field experiments.
