Educational Qualification :
1.Senior Research Fellow :
• Master’s degree in Genetics/Plant Breeding/Genetics and Plant Breeding/Seed Science/Plant Biotechnology/Life Sciences with specialization in plant sciences as evidenced by dissertation work/Biotechnology with specialization in plant sciences with 4years bachelor’s degree. Those with 3 years bachelor’s degree must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET qualification or equivalent or Ph.D./ M.Tech in any of the above disciplines (As per ICAR memorandum F. No. Ag. Edn. 6/27/2014-HRD Agri. Edn Dated 31.07.2019)
Desirable:
• The project involves movement to various parts of India where the experiments are being conducted, hence the incumbent should be able to travel independently to experiment sites.
• Basically field experiments are involved including data collection, crossing and harvest and post-harvest operations which the incumbent needs to carry out in field
• Experience in statistical techniques and computer skills as evidenced by thesis work or publications.
2. Senior Research Fellow :
• Master’s degree in Genetics/Plant Breeding/Genetics and Plant Breeding/Seed Science/Plant Biotechnology/Life Sciences with specialization in plant sciences as evidenced by dissertation work/Biotechnology with specialization in plant sciences with 4years bachelor’s degree. 4. Field Worker/ Semi Skilled Helper :
• 10th Pass from recognised board.
Desirable:
• Experience in field work like irrigation using favda, weeding using khurpi and kasola, harvesting and lab work related to agriculture. Certificate shall be uploaded, obtained from the previous employer or approved contractor (needs to be submitted along with the application)
• Experience of Crossing programme in field crops The format is given in the application form for Skilled worker
