Salary Structure For Indian Army Agneepath Scheme Recruitment 2023
AGNIVEERVAYU enrolled under this Scheme will be paid an Agniveer package of Rs 30,000/- per month with a fixed yearly increment. In addition, Risk and Hardship allowances (as applicable in IAF), Dress and Travel allowances will be paid.
Terminal Benefits – Seva Nidhi Package: AGNIVEERVAYU will be given one time ‘Seva Nidhi’ package comprising their monthly contribution along with matching contribution by the Government on completion of their engagement period, as indicated below:-

Educational Qualifications For Science Subjects : 10+2 Intermediate with Mathematics, Physics and English with Minimum 50% Marks. and 50% Marks in English. OR 3 Year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Automobile/ Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology/ Information Technology) with Minimum 50% Marks and 50% Marks in English in Diploma Course. OR 2 Year Vocation Course with Non Vocational Subject Physics and Math from Any Recognized Board with 50% Marks Aggregate and 50% Marks in English.
Other Then Science Subject Eligibility: 10+2 Intermediate with Minimum 50% Marks Aggregate and 50% Marks in English. OR 2 Year Vocation Course with Minimum 50% Aggregate and 50% Marks in English.
- Candidate eligible for Science Subjects examination (on the basis of Intermediate/10+2) are also eligible for Other than Science subjects examination and would be given an option of appearing in both Science and Other than Science subjects examination in one sitting while filling up the online registration form.
- Education Boards listed in Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE) website as members, as on date of registration shall only be considered.
- Exact aggregate Percentage of marks before decimal as written in the marks sheet of 10+2/Intermediate/Equivalent Examination/Three years Diploma Course/Two years Vocational Course OR calculated as per the rules of concerned Education Board/Polytechnic Institute shall only be considered (For example 49.99% should be taken as 49% and not to be rounded off to 50%).

- Minimum Age : 17.5 Years
- Maximum Age : 21 Years
- Candidates born in between 27-06-2002 to 27-12-2005(both days inclusive)
- In case, a candidate clears all the stages of the Selection Procedure, then the upper age limit as on date of enrolment is 21 years.
Physical Standard For Indian Air Force Agniveer Recruitment
- The weight of the candidate should be in proportion to the Height.
- Height: Minimum acceptable height is 152.5 cms
- Weight: Weight should be proportionate to height and age as applicable for IAF.
- Chest: Minimum chest circumference will be 77 cms and the chest expansion also should be at least 05 cms.
- Hearing: Should have normal hearing i.e. able to hear forced whisper from a distance of 06 meters by each ear separately.
- Dental: Should have healthy gums, good set of teeth and minimum 14 dental points.
Physical Fitness Test For Indian Air Force Agneepath Scheme Recruitment
- Physical Fitness Test would consist of a 1.6 Km run to be completed within 06 minutes 30 seconds.
- Candidates shall also have to complete 10 Push-ups, 10 Sit-ups, and 20 Squats within the stipulated time to qualify for the Physical Fitness Test.

Indian Air Force may follow two main process to select the candidates for the Air Force Agniveervayu posts. Phase-I of a Online Test and Phase – II consists of Certificate Verification, Physical Fitness Test (PFT)) & Phase – III that has a Medical Examination for the candidates.
Exam Pattern For Indian Air Force Agniveer Recruitment
Science Subjects: Total duration of the online test shall be 60 minutes and shall comprise of English, Physics and Mathematics as per 10+2 CBSE syllabus.
Other Than Science Subjects: Total duration of the online test shall be 45 minutes and shall comprise of English as per 10+2 CBSE syllabus and Reasoning & General Awareness.
Science Subjects & Other Than Science Subjects : Total duration of the online test shall be 85 minutes and shall comprise of English, Physics and Mathematics as per 10+2 CBSE syllabus and Reasoning & General Awareness.
Online test will be assessed on the basis of following marking scheme which allots One mark for every correct answer, Nil or zero marks for an attempted question. 0.25 marks shall be deducted for every wrong answer.
