The Coastal Guard Department of India has announced the recruitment of Navik in general duty and domestic branch ,also the recruitment of Yantrik. The vacancies allotted is 350 posts. • Navik ( General Duty) – 260 posts
• Navik( Domestic branch) – 50 posts
• Yantrik( mechanical) – 20 posts
• Yantrik ( Electrical) – 13 posts
• Yantrik ( Electronics ) – 07 posts
• Total – 350 posts
Salary :
• Navik : Rs. 21,700/-
• Yantrik : Rs.29,200/-
Educational qualification:
1.Navik (GD) :
• 10+2 passed with Maths and Physics from an education board recognized by Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).
2.Navik (DB):
• 10th Class passed from an education board recognized by Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).
3.Yantrik :
• “10th class passed from an education board recognized by Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE)” AND “Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical / Electronics/ Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering of duration 03 or 04 years approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE)”.
(OR)
• “10th & 12thclass passed from an education board recognized by Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE)” AND “Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical / Electronics/ Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering of duration 02 or 03 years approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE)”.

01 Feb 2000 to 31 Jan 2004
• For Navik ( domestic branch):
01 April 2000 to 31 March 2004
