Matriculation from recognized Board/Institution and knowledge of first line maintenance. Must possess a driving license for Heavy Motor Vehicles (HMVs) & Motor Cycles. One year practical experience in Heavy Motor Vehicles (HMVs) driving. |

The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules.
Selection Process For Indian Navy Recruitment 2022
- The appointment of provisionally selected candidates will strictly be based on the Physical Fitness Test, subject to satisfactory verification of documents, medical examination and other requirements as applicable and specified by the Government of India and Appointing Authority.

- All relevant documents pertaining to age, education, identity, address, category, caste, service etc. will be scrutinized and verified prior to provisional appointment as per extant DoP&T policy. Date and venue for document verification will be intimated to the provisionally selected candidates by post/ on their e-mails IDs.
- Scheme of Written Examination: All short listed eligible candidates will have to appear in the written examination consisting of objective type questions based on the essential/desirable qualification as mentioned at para 4 above and bilingual in both English and Hindi (except for General English) covering aspects as below:

- Driving Test: Candidates applying for Civilian Motor Driver (Ordinary Grade) to attend a driving test which will be qualifying in nature. Exact date, time and venue will be communicated to the eligible candidates by post.
