Indian Navy Recruitment 2023 100 Agniveer (MR) Posts: The Indian Navy has announced the recruitment of Agniveer (MR) for the 02/2023 (November 2023) batch. Online applications are invited from eligible unmarried male and unmarried female candidates as per the eligibility conditions laid down by the Government of India. A total of 100 vacancies will be filled, including a maximum of 20 positions reserved for female candidates. These vacancies will be allocated on a state-wise basis. Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible for the Indian Navy Agniveer (MR) recruitment, candidates must fulfill the following criteria.

Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens.

Marital Status: 4 Only unmarried Indian male and female candidates are eligible for enrollment as Agniveer in IN. Candidates will have to give a certificate of being ‘unmarried’ at the time of enrollment. Agniveers shall not be permitted to marry during their entire tenure of four years in the IN A candidate shall be dismissed from service if he/ she marries during his/her tenure or is found to be already married despite giving certificate of being unmarried.

Age: Candidate should be born between 01 Nov 2002 – 30 Apr 2006 (Both dates inclusive).

Educational Qualification: Candidate must have passed Matriculation Examination from the Boards of School Education recognised by Ministry of Education, Govt. of India

Salary and Benefits: Selected candidates will undergo basic training at INS Chilka followed by professional training in various naval training establishments. During the training period, a stipend of Rs. 14,600/- per month will be paid. After successful completion of training, candidates will be placed in Level 3 of the Defence Pay Matrix (Rs. 21,700 – Rs. 69,100). In addition to the basic pay, they will be entitled to other allowances such as Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, and Transport Allowance.

AGNIVEER will be given one time ‘Seva Nidhi’ package comprising their monthly contribution with matching contribution by the Government on completion of their engagement period, as indicated below:-

Selection Process: Selection process of Agniveer (MR) – 02/2023 Batch will include two stages i.e. Shortlisting (computer based online examination), ‘Written Examination, PFT and Recruitment Medical Examination’.

Computer-based Examination (CBT): The CBT will be conducted in two languages – Hindi and English. It will consist of objective type questions on Science, Mathematics, and General Knowledge.
Physical Fitness Test (PFT): The PFT includes a 1.6 km run, 20 squats (Uthak Baithak), and 10 push-ups. Candidates must qualify in all three tasks to move to the next stage.
Medical Examination: Candidates who clear the CBT and PFT will undergo a medical examination to assess their medical fitness.
Merit List: The final merit list will be prepared based on the performance of candidates in the CBT, PFT, and medical examination.
