Is a B.E mechanical engineer eligible to apply for motor vehical inspector in TNPSC?

Yes, you are eligible to apply for the post of motor vehicle inspector. The educational qualification for this post is Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Automobile engineering .

In additional to this the candidates who are willing to apply should have a valid heavy vehicle license along with 6 months experience of driving heavy vehicles.

To this you should also have experience of 1 year in petrol/diesel engine fitted vehicles in any one of the government workshops or any government approved workshops.
