ISRO IPRC Recruitment 2023 62 TA & Technician Posts: The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is one of the world’s leading space agencies, and has been at the forefront of space exploration and research for several decades. The ISRO Propulsion Complex (IPRC), located in Tamil Nadu, is a key facility within ISRO that is responsible for the development of propulsion systems and other critical components for space missions.
In a recent job notification released by the IPRC, the organization has invited online applications for the recruitment of 62 Technical Assistant, Technician ‘B’, Draughtsman ‘B’, Heavy Vehicle Driver ‘A’, Light Vehicle Driver ‘A’, and Fireman-’A’ posts. Eligibility: Candidates who are interested in applying for the above mentioned posts must meet the following eligibility criteria:
Technical Assistant –
Mechanical – First Class Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or) Production Engineering
Electronics – First Class Diploma in Electronic Engineering (or) Electronics & Communication Engineering (or)Electronics &Telecommunication Engineering (or) Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering
Electrical – First Class Diploma in Electrical Engineering (or) Electrical and Electronics Engineering
Computer Science – First Class Diploma in Computer Science (or) Computer Science & Engineering (or) Computer Technology
Civil – First Class Diploma in Civil Engineering
Technician ‘B’ –
Fitter – Pass in SSLC/ SSC/ Matric/ 10th Std. (and) ITI in Fitter Trade from NCVT with NTC (or) NAC
Electronic Mechanic – Pass in SSLC/ SSC/ Matric/ 10th Std. (and) ITI in Electronic Mechanic (or) Instrument Mechanic Trade from NCVT with NTC (or) NAC
Welder – Pass in SSLC/SSC/Matric/10th Std. (and) ITI in Welder Trade from NCVT with NTC (or) NAC
Refrigeration & AC – SSLC/ SSC/ Matric/10th Std. (and) ITI in Mechanic Refrigeration AC Trade from NCVT with NTC (or) NAC
Electrician – SSLC/ SSC/ Matric/10th Std. (and) ITI in Electrician Trade from NCVT with NTC (or) NAC
Plumber – Pass in SSLC/ SSC/ Matric/10th Std. (and) ITI in Plumber Trade from NCVT with NTC (or) NAC
Draughtsman ‘B’ (Civil) – Pass in SSLC/ SSC/ Matric/10th Std. (and) ITI in Draughtsman Civil from NCVT with NTC (or) NAC
Heavy Vehicle Driver ‘A’ –
– Pass in SSLC/SSC/Matric/10th Std.
– Must possess valid HVD license Must possess Public Service Badge
– Any other requirement of the Motor Vehicle Act of Tamil Nadu State should be met within 3 months from the date of joining the post:
– 5 years experience out of which 3 years as HVD (should be acquired after obtaining valid HVD license)
– Experience Certificate should only be from Government Semi-Government agencies / Registered Companies/Societies/ Trusts, etc. / Experience Certificate from individuals will not be accepted.
– Part Time Experience will not be considered for experience
Light Vehicle Driver ‘A’ –
– Pass in SSLC/SSC/Matric/10th Std.
– Must possess valid LVD license – Must possess Public Service Badge
– Any other requirement of the Motor Vehicle Act of Tamil Nadu State should be met within 3 months from the date of joining the post.
– 3 Years experience as LVD (should be acquired a3rtoubtainiog valid LVD licen5e)
– Experience Certificate should only be from Government / Semi-Government agencies / Registered Companies / Societies/ Trusts, etc.
– Experience Certificate from individuals will not be accepted.
– Part Time Experience will not be considered for experience.
Fireman -’A’ –
– Pass in SSLC/SSC/Matric/10th Std.
– Should satisfy the prescribed Physical Fitness Standards
Salary: The salary for the different posts varies, and is as follows:
- Technical Assistant – Level 7 in the Pay Matrix Rs.44900 – 142400/-
2. Technician ‘B’ – Level 3 in the Pay Matrix Rs.21700 – 69100/-
3. Draughtsman ‘B’ – Level 3 in the Pay Matrix Rs.21700 – 69100/-
4. Heavy Vehicle Driver ‘A’ – Level 3 in the Pay Matrix Rs.19900 – 63200/-
5. Light Vehicle Driver ‘A’ – Level 3 in the Pay Matrix Rs.19900 – 63200/-
6. Fireman -’A’ – Level 3 in the Pay Matrix Rs.19900 – 63200/-
Selection Process: The selection process for the above mentioned posts will involve a written test and a skill test. The written test will consist of objective type questions, and will be conducted for a duration of 2 hours. The skill test will be conducted for candidates who qualify in the written test.
