The Kanyakumari District Health Society announced the recruitment of TB Cell Medical Officer, District Programme Coordinator, Senior Treatment Supervisor, Lab Technicians, TB Health Visitor, District Pharmacist & Data Entry Operator (DEO) Posts. The candidates who are eligible and are interested in this recruitment can send their applications .

Vacancies :
• TB Cell Medical Officer, District Programme Coordinator, Senior Treatment Supervisor, Lab Technicians, TB Health Visitor, District Pharmacist & Data Entry Operator (DEO) : 17 Posts
Age limit :
• 40 Years
Educational Qualification :
1.TB Cell Medical Officer :
• MBBS or equivalent degree from institution recognized by Medical council of India.
Additional Qualification:
• Diploma / MD Public Health/ PSM/ Community Medicine/ CHA/ Tuberculosis & Chest Diseases.
• One year experience in RNTCP.
• Basic knowledge of computers.
2. District Programme Coordinator :
• MBA/PG Diploma in management health administration from a recognized institute / university.
• At least 1 year of work experience.
Additional Qualification:
• Preference Will be given to those who have worked in the field of Development/ Health at District / State level.
3. District PMDT and TB HIV Coordinator erstwhile Senior DOTS plus & TBHIV Supervisor :
• Graduate.
• Certificate course in computer operation (minimum two months)
• Permanent two wheeler driving license.
Additional Qualification:
• At-least 2 years of work experience under RNTCP or 5 years experience in any public health programme in a supervisory capacity.
• Good communication skills in local language & willing to travel in the area of work.
4. (STS) Senior Treatment Supervisor :
• Bachelor’s Degree OF, Recognized sanitary inspector’s course.
• Certificate course in computer operation (minimum 2 months)
• Permanent two wheeler driving license, should be able to drive two wheeler
Additional Qualification:
• Tuberculosis health visitors recognized course.
• Govt, recognized degree/ Diploma in Social work or Medical Social work
• Successful completion of basic training course (Govt, recognized) for Multi-purpose health workers.
5. Lab Technicians :
• Intermediate (10+2) and Diploma or certified course in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent
Additional Qualification:
• One year experience in RNTCP or Sputum smear microscopy.
• Candidates with Higher qualification (for example Graduates) shall be preferred.
6. TB Health Visitor :
• Graduate OR
• Intermediate (10+ 2) and experience of working as MPW/LHV/ANM/ Health worker / Certificate or higher course in Health Education /Counseling OR
• Tuberculosis health visitor’s recognized course.
• Certificate course in computer operations (minimum two months)
Additional Qualification:
• Training course for MPW or recognized sanitary inspector’s course .
7. District Pharmacist :
• Degree/ Diploma in Pharmacy.
Additional Qualification:
• 1 year experience in managing drug store in a reputed hospital/ health center recognized by Govt
8. Data Entry Operator (DEO) :
• 10+2 with Diploma in computer application or equivalent recognized by the Council for Technical education/ DOEACC
• Typing speed of 40 w.p.m in English and Tamil language.
• Should be well conversant with various computer programming including MS Word, Excel and simple statist packages.
Additional Qualification:
• At least one year experience in related field.
