The distribution of vacancies includes about 1 – Vacant in Project Fellow (School of Physics), 1 – Vacant in Project Fellow (School of Energy Science), 1 – Vacant in Project Fellow (School of Information Technology), 04 – Vacancies in PG Technician (School of Chemistry), 02 Vacancies in PG Technician (School of Biological Sciences), 1 – Vacant in PG Technician (School of Biotechnology), 1 – Vacant in PG Technician (School of Earth and Atmospheric sciences), 1 – Vacant in Computer Operator (Supportive manpower for DST – PURSE Office), 1 – Vacant in Lab Assistant (Supportive manpower for DST-PURSE Office) are the Vacancies are to be filled up. The Pay Scale for the above recruitment is Rs. 14,000/- for Project Fellowship Posts and it is Rs. 12,000/- for PG Technician, Computer Operator and Lab Assistant Posts. Then coming to know about the Eligibility Criteria for Madurai Kamaraj University Recruitment 2017, The Educational Qualification University prescribed Respective Qualification for the Respective Posts such as (i) Project Fellow (School of Physics) – Applicant should have completed M.Sc., Degree in Physics, with the Knowledge in Tailoring quantum states for quantum digital signature protocols and quantum. (ii) Project Fellow (School of Energy Science) – Applicant should have completed M.Sc., Degree in (Botany / Plant Science / Environmental Science / Bio-technology / Microbiology / Bio-technology with First Class. (iii) Project Fellow (School of Information Technology) – Applicant should have completed M.Sc., Degree in (Computer Science / Computer Applications (with at least 55% marks in Aggregation), the Preference will be given to the candidates those who are NET / GATE qualified or M.Phil. degree holder in Computer Science Department. (iv) PG Technician (School of Chemistry) – Applicant should have completed M.Sc., Degree in Chemistry with minimum 55 % marks with basic computer knowledge is essential.
The Preference will be given to the candidates those are Experienced in handling chemistry laboratory classes in the college or school level / handling scientific equipment / chemical industry experience. (v) PG Technician (School of Biological Sciences) – Applicant should have completed M.Sc., Degree in Life Science and related Degree in Post-Graduation. (vi) PG Technician (School of Biotechnology) – Applicant should have completed M.Sc., Degree with First class in Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Microbiology / Biochemistry, Handling the Research equipment with adequate knowledge in Computer. (vii) PG Technician (School of Earth and Atmospheric sciences) – Applicant should have completed M.Sc., Degree in Geography and working knowledge in GIS with computer knowledge is desirable. (viii) Computer Operator (Supportive manpower for DST-PURSE Office – Computer Operator Post Candidate with any Degree in Science discipline with basic computer knowledge. Experience in preparation of scientific documents is preferable. (ix) Lab Assistant (Supportive manpower for DST-PURSE Office) – Lab Assistant Post, B.Sc Degree in any branch of science with good knowledge on maintenance of equipment is preferable.
