MAHARASHTRA SET 2016:
Savitribai Phule Pune University, the State Agency conducted 32nd SET examination at Mumbai, Pune, Kolhapur, Solapur, Ahmednagar, Nasik, Dhule, Jalgaon, Aurangabad, Nanded, Amravati, Nagpur, Chandrapur, Gadchiroli, & Panaji (Goa), centres. It may further be specifically understood that the candidate who qualifies the SET would only be held eligible for being appointed as Assistant Professor in University/ affiliated college, provided he/she fulfills other academic qualifications prescribed for Assistant Professor post by the U.G.C. and is selected by the respective Selection Committee. Unlike the NET/UGC-CSIR Combined Test, the candidates who qualifies the SET is only eligible for being selected as Assistant Professor and not for the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). As per UGC guidelines, SET qualified candidates shall be eligible to apply for the post of Assistant Professor only in the Universities/Colleges belonging to the same state whose SET Examination they have cleared.
MH SET Exam started accepting the Online Applications form from 15th Feb 2016 to 11th March 2016. Later, Successful Submission of applicants Name list are updated in their website for Candidate’s Reference.

The MH SET Exam 2016 conducted in Objective Mode through OMR Based Written Exam. The test consists of three papers. All the three papers consists of only objective type questions and held on the day of Examination in two separate sessions as under.
