Match the Poems with the Poets

In TNPSC Group II and Group IV exams, matching the poems with poet names usually accounts for atleast two questions. Most of the times, question will be in the form of Match the following (with 4 poems and author names) type rather than just asking who is the author of one Poem XYZ?

Sometimes, a line in these poems will be given and you will be asked to find the poet. If you glance through all these poems once and understand their meaning, it will be easier for you to guess the poem name when a line is given. There is no need to mug-up all lines from all poems.
