The Ministry of Programme Implementation and Statistics has recently released their Notification for the recruitment of Field Investigator ( FI) in Tamil Nadu for 431 vacancies. The Ministry of Programme Implementation and Statistics came into continuation as an Independent Ministry. It was formed on 15th Oct 1999 after combining the statistics department and the programme implementation department. The Ministry of Programme Implementation and Statistics has two wings, one related to Statistics and other related to Implementation. The MOSPI affix ample importance to coverage and quality facet of Statistics issued in the country.
