• Sports Persons : 18 to 25 Years
Educational Qualification :
For GP 1900/2000 (7th CPC Pay Matrix Level – 02/03):
• The candidate should have minimum qualification of Intermediate or Equivalent Examination passed from any Recognized Board.
• For Technical Posts candidate shall be passed Act Apprenticeship/ ITI. The Certificate of Act Apprenticeship/ITI must be approved by SCVT/NCVT.
• For appointment against sports quota in Technician-III, the minimum educational qualification should be prescribed as 10th-pass. However, the training period for such Sports quota appointee will be 3 (three) Years unless they passes ITI qualification in the relevant Trade, in which case it will be 6 months.
Sports Norms For Recruitment:
The minimum sports norms for recruitment of sportspersons against Sport Quota through Open advertisement for both (team and individual) events shall be as under:
For PB-I Rs. 5200- 20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 1900/2000 (Revised Pay Scale after 7th CPC Pay Matrix Level – 02/03) :
• Represented the Country in any of the Category-B Championships/events as Categorized in Para 2.1 below OR
• At least 3rd Position in any of the Category-C Champions/events as Categorized in Para 2.1 below. OR
• At least 3rd Position in Senior/Youth/Junior National Champions OR
• At least 3rd Position in National Games organized under aegis of Indian Olympic Association OR
• At least 3rd Position in All India Inter University Championship organized under the Aegis of Association of Indian Universities OR
• 1st Position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category).
