Vacancies:
• PA, SRF & Young Professional – II : 04 Posts
Age limit :
1.Project Assistant :
• Upper age limit is 50 years.
2. Young Professional – I :
• Minimum age 21 years & Maximum age 45 years for Young Professional – I. Age relaxation shall be applicable as per rules.
3. Young Professional-II:
• Minimum age 21 years & Maximum age 45 years for Young Professional – II. Age relaxation shall be applicable as per rules.
4. Senior Research Fellow (SRF) :
• Not more than 35 years for men and 40 years for women for Senior Research Fellow. Age relaxation shall be applicable as per rules.
Educational Qualification :
1.Project Assistant :
• B.Sc.(Ag.) or B.Sc.(Hort.) degree with scoring of at least 90% marks in all the subjects related to Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry in the four year course. Or B.Sc. (Physics) or B.Sc.(Chemistry) – with work experience as JRF / Project Assistant in Soil Science related research projects in ICAR research Institutes, SAUs, ICAR-KVKs.
2. Young Professional-I :
• First class in B.Sc. (Ag) or B.Sc. Physics / Chemistry – with work experience in research projects related to Soil Science, Remote Sensing, and Precision Farming at any ICAR institutions, SAUs etc.
Desirable:
• Persons who worked in soil / plant analysis for nutrients will be given preferences.
3. Young Professional-II :
• First class in M. Tech Computer Science / M.Sc., Computer Science / Master of Computer Applications with Knowledge in Embedded systems and deep learning models.
Desirable:
• Python programming, android studio, MATLAB, Cloud function.
• Experience on APP development and website creation
4. Senior Research Fellow (SRF) :
• First class in M.Sc. (Ag.) specialized in Plant Physiology / M.Tech (Soil & Water conservation) / Master degree in Plant sciences specialised in M.Sc. Plant Physiology / Plant Biochemistry.
Note:
• Candidates having Post-graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have NET (conducted by UGC / CSIR / ICAR-ASRB) qualifications and 2 years of research experience in Plant Physiology / Biochemistry areas.
