Age Limit:
As on 31st July 2016, the Age of the candidate must be in between the criteria as mentioned below_
- Assistant Commissioner : Not More Than 45 Years
- Principal : Minimum 35 Years and Maximum 45 Years
- Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) : Not Exceeding 40 Years
- Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) : Less Than or Equal to 35 Years
- Miscellaneous Teachers : Not More Than 35 Years
- TGT (Third Language Teacher) : Not Exceeding 35 Years
Relaxation in Upper Age Limit will be given to Reserved Categories candidates (SC, ST, OBC) as per Government of India Rules.
Educational Qualification and Experience Requirement
The candidate must have obtained Degree or Professional Qualification in respective subject/discipline from a government recognized board/university as under_
Assistant Commissioner – Master’s Degree and Five Years Experience.
Principal – Master’s Degree plus B.Ed and Twelve Years Experience.
Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) – Master’s Degree plus B.Ed and Proficiency in Hindi and English Languages.
Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) – Bachelor’s Degree plus B.Ed and CTET Exam Passed.
Miscellaneous Teachers – Graduate or Post Graduate Degree/Diploma (Art Teacher requires B.Ed besides UG/PG Degree/Diploma).
TGT (Third Language Teacher) – Bachelor’s Degree plus B.Ed and CTET Exam Passed.
Application Fee:
The candidate needs to pay the Application Fee as given below_
- Assistant Commissioner and Principal: Rs.1500/-
- PGT, TGT, Miscellaneous Teachers, TGT Third Grade Teacher: Rs.1000/-
The SC, ST, PH Categories and Women candidates need NOT to pay any Fee.
Process of Selection:
The candidate will be appointed based on their performance in Written Exam, followed by Personal Interview and Document Verification.
Pay Scale:
After appointment for respective post, the candidate will be paid under the Pay Scale as under
Assistant Commissioner: from Rs.15600/- to Rs.39100/- with Grade Pay of Rs.7600/- per month.
Principal: from Rs.15600/- to Rs.39100/- with Grade Pay of Rs.7600/- per month.
PGT: from Rs.9300/- to Rs.34800/- with Grade Pay of Rs.4800/- per month.
TGT: from Rs.9300/- to Rs.34800/- with Grade Pay of Rs.4600/- per month.
Miscellaneous Teachers: from Rs.9300/- to Rs.34800/- with Grade Pay of Rs.4600/- per month.
TGT (Third Language Teacher): from Rs.9300/- to Rs.34800/- with Grade Pay of Rs.4600/- per month.
