Punjab Lateral Entry Entrance Test is known as PULEET. It is the entrance exam conducted for Diploma students to enter into the BE course in various departments like civil, mechanical, electrical and computers. So many students after 10th standard they will join in the diploma course for 3 years in any one of the department. After completing their diploma, they write this entrance exam. After writing this exam, they can enter as lateral entry students in B.E 2nd year in the departments of electrical, mechanical, computers science, etc. Aspirants who want to join in the particular stream will write the particular subject to get the seat. The Panjab University, Chandigarh has released the exam dates for Panjab University Lateral Entry Entrance Test (PULEET) 2016. The exam is scheduled to be held on July 10.
Educational qualification:
The candidates must have passed class 10 from a recognised board or university.
Paper pattern:
The exam will consist of 75 multiple choice questions and will be held for a duration of one hour and 30 minutes.
The candidates must note that the negative marking will be applicable; one fourth marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
