The department of School and Education of Punjab has released their notification for PS TET 2016 on 04th July 2016 which was advertised on newspaper and official link. It is recruiting Teachers Professionals for Punjab Schools of Lower Primary and Upper Primary level. For candidate’s reference, we have provided every details of this notification. About PS TET
The Department of School Education, Government of Punjab, has entrusted the responsibility of conducting Punjab State Teachers Eligibility Test (PSTET) examination. Candidates who are interested in teaching field and who wants to do teacher job, compulsory they have to take this PSTET exam. The selection of candidates will be done based on the recruitment rules and will be appointed in the government and private schools of the state Punjab. The candidates can apply through online mode from 4th July 2016 to 21st July 2016. Further details like Eligibility, Age, Qualification, Etc can be found below.
PS TET Eligibility
The Educational Qualification for CG TET 2016 is follows,
- Candidates must pass Senior Secondary Examination with atleast 50% Marks and Passed or appearing in final year of B.Ed or appearing in final year of 2 year diploma in Elementary Education for Lower Primary Teacher of Class I to V.
- Candidates should be a Graduate with Diploma in Elementary Education with 50% Marks or 10+2 with Bachelor of Elementary Education/B.A./B.Sc.Ed. or B.A. Ed./ B.Sc. Ed for Upper Primary Teacher of Class VI to VIII.
When we come to age criteria, as per Government norms the minimum age of the applicants must be of 21 years as on the exam date. The Pay Scale for CG TET will be updated later and it is said that it will comes under rules of Government.
How to apply
The Aspirants who had dreams to become Teacher by Professional can apply if they meet the ground of eligibility which is given above. The Applications are received only through ONLINE Mode. The Mode of Payment is accepted either through Online (using Debit/ credit / NEFT / Net banking system) or offline mode. If it is Offline mode means, the application fee can be paid at any Branch of SBI through Challan. The exam will be conducted for Paper I and Paper II, whereas Paper I is for Class I to V and Paper II is for Class VI to VIII. The Detailed Application fee is given below,
For General – Rs.600 for each paper.
For SC or ST – Rs.300 for each paper
The fee is exempted for Ex.Serviceman.
Eligible candidates are asked to visit official website which is given below. Once navigated to homepage, you will find “Apply Online” link. Click and goto application form to be filled. Fill all details carefully which is mandatory and upload photo and signature scanned copy if once completed means click on SUBMIT button, which will lead you to the payment gateway for making payment. Once the respective payment is done after successful filling up of form. The application number will be generated after submitting the form. Take Print out of the form for future use.

PS TET Admit Card 2016
The Date of examination is on 21st August 2016. The Admit card will be released just 15 days before the exam. So candidates are asked to be in touch with us for further details. You can also check these details in their official website. These admit card should be carried on the day of exam for entering into the exam centre. To download the admit card, one must enter the registration number and DOB.These admit card will also be available in their website, which will not be sent through POST or other means strictly.
Results
The results will be declared online. The candidates can check their results on the official website by clicking on the Results link and then entering their registration number.
