Punjab Medical Entrance Test (PMET) is conducted by Baba Farid University of Health Science. It is one of the top entrance exams in India for qualifying admission of candidates for medical courses such as MBBS, BAMS, BDS and BHMS. Only based on the scores that the candidates gets in this PMET will decide the admission of candidates in to private and government colleges in the state of Punjab. Recently it has issued the notification for the year 2016 on their official website www.bfuhs.ac.in through which application for PMET has been opened. Large mass of candidates have applied for it. Those candidates who have applied for it can get their admit card in the same official web portal. It is announced by the board that the PMET 2016 will be held on 11th of June 2016. MBBS/BDS admissions in the state colleges will be based on the merit marks obtained by eligible medical aspirants in the Punjab Medical Entrance Test 2016.
PMET ADMIT CARD 2016
Now, the board has released the Admit Card for the PMET 2016 in the official web portal. It is available only for those candidates who have submitted their application forms on time. Admit card of Punjab PMET 2016 will be the hall ticket to be carried to the examination hall on the day of exam by the candidates. As per the choice of examination center selected by the candidates in the application form, as it is the norm, candidates will be assigned test center. This information will be indicated and printed in the Punjab PMET hall ticket.
PROCEDURE FOR DOWNLOADING PMET ADMIT CARD 2016
Aspirants who have applied for the PMET 2016 can download their admit card in the official website by following simple procedures. Firstly, candidates are advised to open the official website www.bfuhs.ac.in. In the home page of the official website a link will be available stating Punjab PMET Admit Card 2016. By clicking on the link a new box appears on the screen asking for the application number and date of birth, candidates are supposed to enter the correct details as mentioned by them during filling up the application form. By doing so their admit card will be shown on screen. Candidates are supposed to take a print copy of their admit card as it is necessary for appearing for the exam. candidates can check their name, register number, signature, photo identity, exam date and time, center and other details mentioned in their admit card. Keep your admit card safe until result is declared.
PMET 2016 EXAM PATTERN
The test will have one paper consisting of questions in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology). The duration of the test will be for three hours which includes the time consumed in signatures, thumb impressions, photography and other security measures. Form each subject 50 questions will be asked carrying 200 marks for each subject. The total number of questions will be 200 carrying 800 marks. There is no negative marking. Timing of the examination will be mentioned on the admit card.
