SBI, State Bank of India has made their official notification for the recruitment of post of Probationary Officer. It’s good news for all those job seekers in the field of Bank as SBI has announced for 2200 vacancies. It’s quite a large number of employment opportunities As per their announcement they are in need of 2200 Probationary Officer in which they have made special allocation for SC category for 351 vacancies, for ST it is 231 vacancies, for OBC it is 590 and for General category it is 1028 vacancies. After seeing their announcement large mass of graduates were looking up for the eligibility criteria and other related issues for taking up this notification. The essential qualification as mentioned in the notification is that any candidate who has passed a graduation in any of Indian recognized university can take up this opportunity and even final year students can take up this notification. Only citizens of India are eligible for taking up this job. The upper age limit for taking up this job is 30years and lower age limit is 21 years. There is some age relaxation given for certain categories as per Government of India rules. Candidates who have made some default in repayment of loans/credit card dues are not eligible for this job. And for those candidates on whom there is some legal issues found are also not eligible for taking up this job.
The selection process for this job is three phases. The first phase is Preliminary examination, here the candidates will be writing examination consisting of Objective type questions for 100 marks and this will be conducted online for one hour. They will be writing their test on English language in which 30 questions will be asked for 30 marks, Quantitative aptitude for 35 questions carrying 35 marks, and reasoning ability for 35 questions carrying 35 marks. Candidates who are qualifying this exam based on category and marks will be shortlisted for mains examination. The main examination is the second phase of selection process for this AO job. Here the applicants will be writing up exam based on objective type for a total of 200 marks for 3 hours. This test consists of 4 sections. The first section is reasoning and computer aptitude a number of 45 questions will be asked for 60 marks and the time duration for it is 60 minutes, the second section is on data analysis and interpretation for 35 questions carrying 60 marks for a time duration of 45 minutes. The third section is general economy and banking awareness for 40 questions carrying 40 marks for duration of 35 minutes and English language for 35 questions carrying 40 marks for 40 minutes will be allocated. So together they will be attending 155 questions for 200 marks in 3 hours. After this in main exam they have to undergo descriptive test where 30 minutes will be given 50 marks will be given for English language for writing letters and essay. There will be penalty for wrong answers made both in preliminary and main examination. The phase three there will be a group discussion held for 20 marks followed by interview for 30 marks. The marks obtained in the preliminary examination will not be added for the selection and only marks obtained in Main examination, both in objective and descriptive test will be added to the marks of GD and interview for final merit list. The scale pays per annum Is Rs.7.55 lakh to Rs. 12.93 lakh depending on place of posting.
Candidates are supposed to fill up their application form online on the official website sbirect@ibpsorg.org. They have to pay keep their scanned photograph, signature before hand for filling up the application. And after filling up the application form the candidates can take a print of it for their future reference. Dates for remembrance, online registration begins from 4th May 2016 and ends on 24th May 2016. The payment of application fees is from 04.05.2016 to 24.05.2016. the download of call letters will be available from 14.06.2016 onwards. The online preliminary exam will be conducted from 2nd, 3rd, 9th and 10th of July 2016. The result of online exam for prelims will be on 18.07.2016. The main examination is 21.07.2016 onwards. The result for main will be declared 16th of August. The call letter for interview will be available from 22nd of August and GD and Interview will be on 1st of September and the final results will be declared on 30th September 2016. Presently, the starting basic pay is `27,620/- (with 4 advance increments) in the scale of `23700-980/7-30560-1145/2-32850-1310/7-42020 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale-I. The official will also be eligible for D.A, H.R.A/Lease rental, C.C.A, Medical and other allowances & perquisites as per rules in force from time to time. The total compensation per annum would be a minimum of `7.55 lacs and maximum of `12.93 lacs depending on place of posting and other factors. SBI plans to offer, subject to necessary approvals, a SMART Compensation Package which would enable candidates a choice to monetize specific elements of the salary package
