Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible for the SBI Specialist Officer recruitment 2023, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Age Limit: The age of the candidate should be between 25 to 35 years. The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules

Educational Qualification: The educational qualifications vary depending on the specific post. Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent qualification from a recognized university. Additional qualifications or experience may be required for certain posts.

Selection Process: The selection process for SBI Specialist Officer 2023 will consist of multiple stages, including:

Shortlisting: Mere fulfilling minimum qualification and experience will not vest any right in candidate for being called for interview. The Short-listing Committee constituted by the Bank will decide the shortlisting parameters and thereafter, adequate number of candidates, as decided by the Bank will be shortlisted and called for interview. The decision of the bank to call the candidates for the interview shall be final. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.

Interview: Interview will carry 100 marks. The qualifying marks in interview will be decided by Bank. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.

Merit List: Merit list for selection will be prepared in descending order based on scores obtained in interview only. In case, more than one candidate score the cut-off marks (common marks at cut-off point), such candidates will be ranked according to their age in descending order, in the merit.
