Eligibility: Candidates who wish to apply for the post of Probationary Officer (CMA) at South Indian Bank must meet certain eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria are as follows:
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed CA/CMA/ICWA from a recognized university or institution.
Age Limit: The age limit for candidates applying for this post is between 20 to 28 years as on 31st December 2022. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates as per government norms.
Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens.
Salary: The selected candidates will be offered a salary in the IBA approved pay scale of Rs. 36,000 – 1,490/7 – 46,430 – 1,740/2 – 49,910 – 1,990/7 – 63,840 plus DA, HRA, Special allowance & other allowances. Eligible for performance linked incentive applicable to Scale I officers as per the scheme in vogue.
Selection Process: The selection process for the post of Probationary Officer (CMA) at South Indian Bank involves three stages:
Online Test: Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria will have to appear for an online test. The online test will be conducted in two parts, namely, Objective and Descriptive. The objective test will consist of questions from Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis & Interpretation, General/Economy/Banking Awareness, and English Language. The descriptive test will test the candidate’s English language skills.
Group Discussion: Candidates who qualify the online test will be called for a group discussion. The group discussion will test the candidate’s communication skills, team-building abilities, and leadership qualities.
Personal Interview: Candidates who clear the group discussion will be called for a personal interview. The personal interview will test the candidate’s overall personality, communication skills, and subject knowledge.
