Staff Selection Commission Southern Region (SSCSR), Chennai invites the applications for the various posts. SSCSR Recruitment 2017 Eligibility Criteria
Then coming to know about the Eligibility Criteria, The Educational Qualifications are prescribed on the basis of posts i.e. for (i) Technical Superintendent Posts – the Candidates should have completed their Diploma in Handloom Technology or Textile Technology from a recognized Institute or University and Three years of experience in the technical aspects of handloom and in the implementation of Handlooms (Reservation of Articles for Production) Act, 1985 in a handloom / textile unit or organization or in a Public Sector Undertaking or in an autonomous body or in any recognized institution for (ii) Workshop Superintendent Posts – the Candidates should have completed their Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University or Institute with 2 years of experience as Foreman in a Handloom / Power loom Textile Mill or Manufacturing Unit.
For (iii) Senior Instructor (Weaving) Posts – the Candidates should have completed their Degree in Textile Technology or Textile Engineering from a recognized University or Institute with 2 years of practical experience as an Instructor in handloom or textile weaving in Textile Institute or in a handloom production unit or completion of 3 years Diploma course in Textile Technology or Diploma in Handloom Technology or Diploma in Handloom and Textile Technology from a recognized University or Institute with 4 years of practical experience as an Instructor in Handloom or Textile Weaving in a Textile Institute or in a Handloom Production Unit. For (iv) Medical Attendant Posts – the Candidates should have completed their SSLC (10th) from a recognized Board with the Certificate in First Aid Practices from Central Government or State Government recognised Institutions. For (v) Lady Medical Attendant Posts – the Candidates should have completed their Matriculation Standard or its equivalent pass from any recognized Board with the Certificate in First Aid practice from Central Government or State Government recognised Institutions.
For (vi) Conservation Assistant Posts – the Candidates should have completed their SSLC (10th) pass from a recognized Board or completion of Diploma in Civil Engineering of minimum three years duration from a recognized Institute. For (vii) Junior Conservation Assistant Posts – the Candidates should have completed their Minimum SSLC (10th) pass from a recognized Board with the Industrial Training Institute Certificate in subjects relating to Civil Engineering. If the candidate is appointed, the he / she will be required to satisfactorily complete prescribed in-service Training in Conservation during their probation period to become eligible for further promotion. For (viii) Evaluation Assistant Posts – the Candidates should have completed their Degree in Statistics or Mathematics or Economics or Sociology or Social Work from a recognized University or Institute with Knowledge in Tamil Language is most preferable the candidates with the above qualifications are eligible to apply for the SSCSR Recruitment 2017.
