SSC has recently announced and conducted the recruitment of Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Quantity Surveying & Contract) under the Ministries, Industries of Central government and various departments of State Government. As many thousands of candidates who have already applied and keenly prepared for the examination as Paper I in 31st January 2016, Many of the aspirants who have successfully cleared and appeared for the examination held on 24th July 2016 for Paper II. Now the Answer Key for the Paper II was released officially within 10 days of the examination date. SSC JE Examination Pattern
Selection for this post will have written examination of 500 Marks and Interview of 100 Marks. Written Test included two papers. Paper-I of 200 marks will be Objective Type which content from General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, General Engineering of Civil& Structural/Electrical/Mechanical and Paper-II of 300 Marks will be Conventional Type.
Paper-II will be held subsequently for those candidates who are shortlisted on the basis of their performance in Paper-I. No admissions certificate for Paper II will be issued by post. Candidates are required to download admit card and other documents for Paper II from the web-site of Regional/Sub-Regional offices. As the Paper II examination held for the course wise for the selected candidates of Paper I. The selected candidates from the Paper II will attend the Personal Interview of 100 Marks and Document Verification to get selected for the recruitment. The Final Merit List based on all the phases of the recruitment.
JE Cut Off Marks
Cut off marks is the margin marks which decide the candidates who are eligible to get selected for the next round of recruitment process. Merit list will be officially released which consist of the shortlisted candidates will be only selected based on this cut off marks. The Cut off marks for each of the recruitment differs and based on the criteria such as No of Vacancies, Difficulty level of the examination ,First mark score by the candidate, No of candidates who appeared for the examination. The cut off marks will be varied for the general and reserved category.
As the examination held have the question pattern in moderate level. Many candidates hope was increased for this recruitment and expecting the result with their name in positive spirit.
Preferences for Posts & Departments/Offices
Candidates who got selected for the post of Junior Engineer will be posted to the following department as per the vacancy in the departments.

Selection of Junior Engineer
SSC officials will select the Junior Engineer for the required post through three phase selection as explained above. If the candidates who got same marks as per the SSC JE Result 2016, then the conflict of mark is resolved basis of method will be applied as follows:
Total Marks in Written Examination(Paper I and Paper II), Marks in Paper II, Marks in Paper I, Age of Candidate(older), Alphabetical order of Names.
