Tamil Nadu SI Exam 2023: Syllabus and Exam Pattern

Tamil Nadu SI (Sub-Inspector) Exam 2023 is a competitive examination conducted by the Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board (TNUSRB) for the recruitment of Sub-Inspectors in the state police department. The exam is conducted annually, and the notification for the same is expected to be released in the first half of 2023. Exam Pattern:

The Tamil Nadu SI Exam 2023 will be conducted in three stages, namely, a written exam, a Physical Measurement Test (PMT), and an Endurance Test (ET). Candidates who clear the written exam will be called for the PMT and ET.

Paper-II: Psychology, General Tamil/General English, and Numerical Analysis

  • The paper will consist of 120 objective type questions.
  • The duration of the paper is 3 hours.
  • The maximum marks for the paper are 120.
  • The paper will cover topics such as mental ability, basic numeracy, communication skills, and language comprehension.
  1. Physical Measurement Test (PMT): Candidates who clear the written exam will be called for the PMT. In this test, candidates’ physical measurements, such as height, weight, and chest, will be taken. The details of the physical measurements are as follows:
