Info on E-Pass
E-Pass is nothing but the electronic Payment and Application System which is functioning only for Scholarship. This E-Pass Scholarship is available only for the following states,
- Andhra Pradesh
- Karnataka
- Telangana
- Himachal Pradesh and
- Tirupura.
Courses eligible for this E-Pass Scholarship
The following are the courses that are eligible for using this E-Pass Scholarship.
Group I:
Professional Courses- Degree and PG Courses in
- Medicine,
- Engineering,
- Technology,
- Management,
- Agriculture,
- Veterinary and Allied Sciences,
- Business Finance,
- Business administration and
- Computer Applications/ Science,
- Commercial pilot License course
Group II
Professional and Technical courses and the following courses,
- M.Phil,
- PhD and
- post doctoral research
- Level courses not covered in Group-I. C.A./I.C.W.A./C.S./
Group III
- Degree courses(not covered in group I & II)
- NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology) courses
Group-IV
- Intermediate
- ITI/ITCs
- Vocational courses (Intermediate level).
Courses not eligible
Scholarships in this E-Pass are not awarded for training courses that are been mentioned below
- Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s Courses
- Private Pilot license Courses.
- Courses at Pre-examination Training Centers of all India and State levels.
Eligibility Criteria for taking this scholarship
Students Eligible
- This scholarship is made available to that student who belongs to the category of SC, ST.
- The annual income of the candidate should not be more than Rs.2 lakh.
- The student taking this scholarship should have 75% of attendance in their institute.
Students not Eligible
- This scholarship is not available for students belonging to other categories other than SC/ST.
- Those students whose parent income is more than Rs.2lakh is not eligible for this scholarship.
- Students taking courses in part time is not eligible to avail this scholarship.
- Students who are getting scholarship or stipend form other resources are not eligible for this.
- Students who are admitted into sponsored seats and management quota are not eligible for this.
Colleges Eligible for this E-Pass scholarship
- All Post Metrics Colleges in the state of Telangana recognized by Government of Telangana/Competent Authority.
- The list of colleges is communicated by Administrative Departments (Departments of Higher Education, Technical Education, School Education, Health Medical and Family Welfare, Employment and Training) to the Commissioner of Social Welfare
E-Pass Scholarship Application procedures
The following are the application procedures for the E-Pass Scholarship Application for the year 2016-17.
- Aspirants first must visit the official website www.telangana.cgg.gov.in.
- The homepage of the authority will appear on screen.
- Search for “TS Epass Scholarship” link .
- Click on the link to get the instructions and guidelines.
- Read it carefully.
- Click on “Apply Online” link.
- The application from will appear on screen.
- Fill the details carefully.
- Upload the documents asked.
- Attach the documents mentioned.
- Finally click on “Submit” button.
- The application will get submitted to the authority.
- Take a print of the application for future verification purpose.

- Parent’s income certificate of the students applying.
