TNPSC assistant surgeon age limit 2021:

 The age limit for applying to this post of assistant surgeon is as follows according to the respected categories:-

• For SC,SC(A),ST,MBC,DC,BC,BCM and destitute widows of all categories: No age limit
• Others (other than SC,SC(A),ST,MBC,DC,BC,BCM and destitute widows)   : should not have completed 30 years

• No age limit means that the candidate should not have completed more than 58 years of age as on notification date.

TNPSC veterinary assistant surgeon recruitment educational qualification 2021:

The candidates willing to apply for the recruitment are to meet the eligibility criteria set by the board. The following is the qualification to be acquired by the candidate:

1. Should own a bachelor degree in veterinary science i.e. Vsc & AH
2. Should have passed the subject Tamil in the higher secondary examination or equivalent.

Note:

• According to the Indian veterinary act ,1982 the candidate should be a registered practitioner.

TNPSC assistant surgeon salary 2021:

The following is the salary set by the Board of animal husbandry as per the revised salary from the year 2017.

• Veterinary assistant surgeon:   The salary is  55,500/- to Rs.1,75,700 /- per month.

TNPSC veterinary assistant surgeon recruitment selection procedure:

The following are the process involved in the  recruitment procedure for the post of assistant surgeon . There are two steps included in this recruitment stage:-

• Written examination
• Oral test / Interview

Written test:

The written examination will be held as two papers i.e. Paper I and Paper II. The written examination constitutes  500 marks in total. Based on the written examination ,the students will be shortlisted and called for the interview process.

Oral test:

Students shortlisted for interview will be invited and are to prepare themselves for an oral test in the form of an interview. This will be held for 70 marks.Students are advised to carry all the required documents in the time of verification.

TNPSC assistant surgeon exam pattern 2021:

As discussed earlier ,there are two sections of paper in the written examination. The pattern of this exam is explained in detail below:-

PAPER I:

Paper I is an objective type of examination held for the time duration of 3 hours. This paper is an subject paper based on animal husbandry and veterinary science (subject code: 296) . Totally 200 questions will be asked and calculated for 300 marks. This paper therefore contributes a majority part in the examination.

PAPER II:

Paper II is also an objective type exam for total of 200 marks. This is a degree standard paper based on the subject of general studies. The total time duration is 2 hours.

PAPER I: 300 MARKS

PAPER II: 200 MARKS

INTERVIEW: 70 MARKS

Fees set by the board is of two modes:-

1. Registration fees – 150/- (One time registration valid for 5 years)
