The advertisement number is 06/2016 says that, the recruitment opened for the post Dental Surgeon( Group A) and Agriculture Officer(Group B) under health&family welfare department and agriculture department of Tripura PSC. The Public Service Commission was incorporated under the Article 96C of the Government of India Act, 1919. Later was constituted for the purpose of formulating the principles, terms and conditions of Public Service Commission. The TPSC was established on 30th October in the year 1972 under the provisions of Article 315 of the constitution of India. The main aim of the organization is to conduct the examination for appointment to various services of the State. It also regulates the policies framed by the Governor as the Public Service Commission play vital role which is efficiently and impartially under the role of TPSC organization. The recruitment process started from now onwards. As few vacancies are available, be first to apply.
Total vacancies
The overall vacancies is 84, whereas dental surgeon has 34 Posts and Agriculture officer has 50 Posts. The vacancies details given in category wise as SC – 5, ST- 10& UR – 19 for dental surgeon Post.
For Agriculture Officer:
SC- 9, ST – 27 ( 4 seats for disabilities), UR – 14 (4 seats for disabilities)
Qualification
Dental Surgeon: The recognized dental qualification in Part I & Part III of the Dentist Act, 1948 and also Bengali knowledge is preferable.
Post or Bachelor degree in agriculture or Horticulture is mandatory from government recognised board. In addition, Knowledge of Agro climatic condition of Tripura and Bengali Knowledge is preferable for Agriculture Officer Post.
Coming to age criteria for both Post, 40years is maximum applicable age as on 30.07.2016. Relaxation of age can be applicable for SC, ST,PH and Government Servant for Five Years.
Package
The candidates will get attractive package from the board as per norms as follows, for Dental Surgeon – Rs.15,600 to 39,100 + GP ( Grade Pay) of Rs.5400 and for agriculture Officer – Rs.10230 to 34,800 Plus GP of Rs.4,800.
Recruitment Fee
Group A: Rs.200 for General Candidates and Rs.150 for others and for Group B: Rs. 150 for General Candidates and Rs.100 for Others. SC or ST candidates of other states will comes under General Category. Thus they will bear the fixed amount as per notification.
Where to get application
From this, it is clearly understood that the application process is acceptable only through Offline mode. The prescribed color printed application form in 4 pages will be available from all branches or counters of Tripura Gramin Bank in the state of Tripura through special deposit slip to the account number 14711 as in favour of “The Secretary, TPSC” in the same branch or counter without any extra charges from the candidates.

Sending mode
The application can be sent through Post with all attachment to the application, self addressed Post card with advertisement no. and name of the Post applied for should be mentioned. Or else it can be directly submitted on the Reception counter of TPSC Secretariat before 5PM of working hours of the closing date. If your application is accepted by the commission, they will send admit card as acknowledgement which consists of Registration Number, date, timing and venue details.
Previous Question paper
The selection process will be written exam( Prelims and Mains) and Interview. The Previous year question paper will always guide you to prepare yourself with some practice. This Model paper will give you the outline of the written exam. You will also come to know the weightage of the sections and subjects in the syllabus.
