UPSC is also called as Union Public Service Commission. It is an apex organization for the central government of India. It is the authorized agency for the government of India which overlooks all the recruitment process. The commission was established in the year 1926 and placed in New Delhi. The commission’s recruitment is done in three methods such as direct recruitment, promotion and transfer. The board conducts various examinations for hiring the brilliant applicants for different posts. Recently it has made its announcement regarding Combined Medical Service Exam 2016. This exam was conducted for Assistant Medical Officer.
UPSC CMS 2016 information
UPSC has taken steps for conducting Combined Medical Service Exam for the year 2016 for various posts through All India Written Test. This Combined Medical Service was conducted for Paper I and Paper II. And the selected candidates will have 1009 posting in India. Assistant Divisional Medical Officer in the Railways will be allocated for 600 posts, for Assistant Medical Officer in India Ordnance Factories Health Service 46 posts, for General duty Medical Officer Gr II in East Delhi Municipal Corporations 97 posts and for General Duty Medical Officer in New Delhi Municipal Council 16 posts are allocated. A large mass of students have shown their interest for this announcement. And even the authority has successfully conducted the examination on 12.06.2016. The selection of candidates will be based on written examination in two papers on computer based mode. The two papers will be carrying a total mark of 500 marks and Paper I is for 250 marks covering subjects General Medicine, Pediatrics and Paper II covers Surgery, Gynecology and Obstetrics, Preventive and Social Medicine. After the written exam a Personality Test will be conducted for 100 marks.

Candidates need to logon through their official website from www.upsc.gov.in. By doing so the homepage of the site gets appeared on screen. A link as UPSC CMS Result 2016 will be appeared on screen. By clicking it a new box appears asking for Registration No and Password by giving the correct details click on Submit button. Result will be displayed on screen download it and take a print out for future usage. As large mass of candidates have applied and all of them are looking for their result so it may take some time for the server to get connected. So candidates are requested not to get panic. The minimum qualifying marks for UPSC CMS PAPPER I and II for General Category is 50 % and for SC/ST/OBC is 45%. The minimum qualifying marks for UPSC CMS PAPER I and PAPER II for PH SC/ST/OBC is 40 % and for General Category PH is 45%.
