Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will holding National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) Examination (II), 2016 for admission to the Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force wings of the NDA for the 138th Course, and for the 100th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) commencing from 2nd July, 2017. About UPSC
The Union Public Service Commission is India’s central agency authorised to conduct the Civil Services Examination, Indian Forest Service examination, Engineering Services Examination, Combined Defence Services Examination, National Defence Academy Examination, Naval Academy Examination, Combined Medical Services Examination, Special Class Railway Apprentice, Indian Economic Service/Indian Statistical Service Examination, Combined Geoscientist and Geologist Examination, and Central Armed Police Forces(Assistant Commandant) Examination. The agency’s charter is granted by the Constitution of India. Articles 315 to 323 of Part XIV of the constitution, titled as Services Under the Union and the States, provide for a Public Service Commission for the Union and for each state. Eligibility Criteria of UPSC NDA NA 2016
Educational Qualification is the primary step to check whether are you eligible to apply for the pre mentioned vacancies. Let’s see the qualification as follows, For Army Wing of National Defence Academy : Candidates must possess 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy : 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
Next eligible criteria is based on age, Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 02nd January, 1998 and not later than 1st January, 2001 are eligible. Eligibility on nationality must be according to govt. norms. The candidates also fit to the ground of physical and medical eligibilities which are mentioned clearly at the end of notification, appendix IV.
UPSC NDA NA II Recruitment
The pay scale will be paid for qualifying candidates as of minimum package of Rs.6000 to maximum of Rs. 1 lakh according to their rank and qualification. There will be fixed stipend for cadet training plus allowances also included.
The Candidates are advised to make payment of Rs.100 either through Online or Offline mode. The offline mode payment will be collected by opt of “Pay by cash” where aspirants must print the system generated pay-in-slip during making payment via Registration part II and should deposit it at any SBI branch on or before 14th July 2016, else the link will be deactivated, whereas the Online mode payment can be done through net banking facilities and that will be valid till closing date of application form that is 15th July 2016. UPSC NDA NA Selection Process
The Selection process of this recruitment consists of 2 levels such as Psychological aptitude test and Intelligence Test. There will be negative marking for each wrong answers. The maths paper carries 300 Marks and time duration of 2 and half hrs and General ability test will carries 600 Marks with time duration of same 2 and half hrs. Thus it carries total of 900 Marks and SSB Test or Interview carries 900 marks. The Detailed syllabus and pattern are also given in appendix I of this notification which is available at official website. The Exam is of Objective type question paper whereas it should be answered in OMR sheet. By instructions, candidates are asked to use only BLACK Ball point pen only. Once all process completed, the candidates will be asked to appear for medical and certificate verification, which was also given Appendix IV.

The General Ability Test consists of Two Parts:
- Part A – English.
- Part B – General Knowledge.
The General Knowledge consists of 5 Sections.
- Section A – Physics.
- Section B – Chemistry.
- Section C – General Science.
- Section D – History, Freedom Movement, etc.
- Section E – Geography.
- Section F – Current Events.
The part ‘B’ of this paper, questions on Sections ‘A’, ‘B’, ‘C’, ‘D’, ‘E’ and ‘F’ will carry approximately 25%, 15%, 10%, 20%, 20% and 10% of weightages respectively. Check official website for other detailed syllabus.

UPSC NDA NA II Exam Important Dates
The e-admit card will be available 3weeks before the commencement of examination at their official website. Check frequently for further updates. The exam date is 18th September 2016. The date of declaration of written exam results will be December 2016. The date of SSB Interview will be commencing from January 2017 to April 2017. Finally commencement of course will be 2nd of July 2017. The candidates are asked to apply online earlier from last date of application to avoid rush and to get preferred exam centre.
