As per notification, the candidates started applying for the entrance exam from February 2016 to April 2016. After successful submission, all candidates are shortlisted for the exam on April 2016. About UPSEE

Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam is shortly known as UPSEE. It the entrance test conducted by the UPTU University. UPTU is eminently called as Uttar Pradesh Technical University. Now it was called as Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University. It is established by the Government of Uttar Pradesh on 8th May in the year 2000. The University has come up under the University Act, called Technical Education involved by the courses like education, research & training in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Town Planning, Pharmacy, Applied Arts & Crafts and various other programs.

 The Central Government formed a consultation with All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to develop the university. UPTU envisions facilitating and providing the quality of technical education and research in its premises as well as all affiliating institutions. Students seeking admissions B.Tech, Arch, Pharma, BHMCT, BFAD, BFA, MBA, MCA, M.Tech, Ph.D, etc., in Uttar Pradesh State have applied and appeared for exams on 17th , 23rd, and 24th April 2016 and the result was declared in 27th May 2016. As this exam was took by 1.50 lakh candidates, whereas govt. seat for B.tech is 2738 seats, Govt. College self finance seats of B.Tech is 975 seats, and finally private college seats is 1.40 lakhs.

UPSEE counselling documents

The aspirants were asked to carry all the relevant documents which are mentioned in the notification or in intimated mail for each candidate as instructions to follow. Make a checklist of those document as follows  Result, Rank card of UPSEE Entrance Exam,UPSEE Counseling Letter, 10th and 12th Mark sheet and Certificate, Domicile Certificate, Caste Certificate, Income Certificate, ID Proof (Ration Card, Bank Passbook, Voter Card, DL Etc),  Medical Fitness Certificate, Passport size Photograph & Character Certificate. Don’t miss to carry all these documents.

The Counselling of UPSEE conducted for 5 Rounds. Thus it will help aspirants to appear for the counselling on time with all required documents.

First Round

1. Registration & Choice Filling- 24 June T0 30 June 2016.
2. Document Verification – 25 June To 1 July 2016.
3. Seat Allotment & Withdraw- 3 & 4 July 2016.

1. Registration & Choice Filling- 06 July T0 7 July 2016.

Third Round

Fourth Round

UPSEE Counselling Process

The process consists of step by step process as follows document verification, Security deposit, Counselling of candidates with PIN generated by NIC, Filling of choice of course and institution and announcement of college allotment. It is said that, collection of counselling fees of Rs.500 will be collected in the form of Demand draft in the favour of finance Officer, UPTC, Lucknow payable at city branch of verification or counselling centres. After allotment of seat, candidates must deposit Rs.15,000 as DD which is non refundable at respective counselling centres.
